Greetings!

I've written more custom HVTs recently, to give a preview of my upcoming Trepang2 project when the Horde Customizer Update goes live. The project's called, "The Janus Protocol", which is about a Task Force 2-7 AI that was programmed to assist 106 in the Combat Simulator.

As 106 takes on the Janus AI's new challenges it gives him, the Horizon Corporation deploys invading software from HADES, which you may recognize from my 2nd set of custom HVTs I've written! There are three of them: Omen, Harbinger, and Annihilator, which all enter the Combat Sims at random moments.

106 doesn't mind fighting HADES' "Champions", as he'll grow stronger by defeating them. Moments before finishing the last missions for Janus, he receives an incoming message from Mat Granger, which 106 learns he defected from Horizon after learning about the two AIs at war at each other.

It turns out, "Janus", has been harvesting 106's combat data and storing it in an undisclosed location where the AI plans to seek genocide on humanity. The data Janus wanted was so it could learn from 106's impressive combat capabilities, and use it against humanity's militiaries! Granger wants to put a stop to this before an AI apocalypse happens.

To that end, Granger and several of his squad members created combat engrams to help 106 fight back against Janus, in order to purge the rogue Task Force 2-7 AI. Their call signs are: Shadow, Breach, and War Dancer.
