In this fight Starfleet ordered the USS Lakota to fight with the USS Defiant because they didn't want to obey some orders.

    If you take the torpedos off dual mode they are more accurate up close. Firing a spread is more of a longer range thing.

    The Defiant seems rather weak. I expected it to take more of a pounding.
