  • I tried this a few times as well as another video. I'm glad I decided on this one. It took me a few times but now it's a breeze. I don't understand when people post their videos they have to go off track and tell their life stories; especially when it's a tutorial. Who has time for that? Thanks for getting straight to the point!

I've watched at least 6 videos on cutting men's hair and this is by far the best !

This is the best DIY hair cutting video on YouTube. I bought a a $20 Wahl hair clipper and got good results following these directions- Thanks!
  • @MrSeando53
Just bought my first set of clippers and this video taught me all I need to know thank you
  • @dodgersv3
Omg... great tutorial. I was able to cut my own hair with great results! I just might start cutting my own hair going forward.
  • @da5idnz
Did this for the first time today! It worked pretty well! I only went down as low as a number 4 on the sides. The hand on your head idea is brilliant to stop you going too far.

Thanks man. Got my clipper today. With the lockdown and everything, had to do it. It was easy. I’ve just followed yours steps. You just made my day. Take care.

Thank you for the video. I’ve been cutting my own hair for the last 6 months as I have been boondocking. I’m glad you showed me your technique as I don’t do a great job on the back. I’m back in Canada and it is snowing so I thought I’ll maybe wait a little hoping it may warm up. I take it down to 1/8” and quite like it. Thank you again.
  • Just done it, great result, thank you for imparting your knowledge.

This is the fastest and no drama self hair cutting method, thank you sir!
  • @deserttek
You are a lifesaver! I was worried as my wife was going to cut my hair and she has never cut anyone's hair before.

Using your hand to stop is the great tip you gave. It helps a lot. Thanks.
  • I watched about 10 DIY haircut videos. This one was the most helpful by far. In quarantine about a month now, my first haircut turned out so good, I thought I should say thanks. It was nine weeks since I last had my hair cut, so having a vacuum cleaner handy helped.
  • 35+ Years Ago I bought a Professional grade Hair Clippers and began doing My own Hair. At the time $110 seemed excessive for Clippers, but those Clippers are still cutting My Hair today, I really am glad I went for Quality.

With everyone stuck at home, I'm guessing this video is about to trend.
  • @Mindboggle100
Great tutorial, thanks for explaining very clearly. I now never sit in an actual Barber's chair, before checking the price of a basic cut... once bitten, twice shy! Too many rip off salon owners for comfort...
  • Stuck at home with my wifey and decided to purchase clippers (Andis Pivot Pro) which comes with a trimmer. Looked at about 12 videos over the previous week and viewed your video about 6 times. (Your video was the best - good explanation, great demo and the end product looked great.)Told my wifey yesterday that we are going for it today. (I have never cut my own hair.) Reviewed your video with my wifey one more time, did a dry run (nothing plugged in) and then went for it. My wifey gave my cut a 9 out of 10 and I gave it a 9 as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to put out this video back in 2017 which I used today. Stay Safe.

Good demo. Thanks! A lot of kits also include left taper and right taper guards. Those make it a lot easier to do above the ears and even the taper at the back.
  • @cozytrucking
You are really the best ! Clear guidance on each steps all by self ! Tks
