I’m sitting here in Western Siberia and I watch every new episode of Graham’s show. Adoringly. Isn’t this “globally famous”?
  • I think the thing that makes The Graham Norton Show so successful is that he always does his best to make the entire show entertaining for the audience. It's never just an outlet for celebrities to promote their latest project (which is why stars go on those shows). To that end, he always has the guests on at the same time, always books a comedian, and encouraged them to interact w. one another. That (plus the fact that they're drinking) usually guarantees lively conversation. He's absolutely the best at it.

Graham does such a great job of managing multiple celebs on the couch at once, even in situations where it’s a global megastar is on with a niche British comedian he makes it work

Graham is the best talk show person on the planet ! Whenever I need a cheer up I watch his videos

I love Graham Norton. He's just a dude. No airs and graces. Very sharp and quick with the sarcasm. His talk show's great, but you see him at his best on the radio.

It’s odd with Madonna. I truly believe she wants everybody to like/love her but she plays it off in public like she doesn’t care. Maybe it’s a form of self protection.

Sometimes the guests themselves comment about how much more fun it is to be on his show than other talk shows. I think the main draw is that the guests have often loosened up with a few drinks then start sharing anecdotes between themselves. Graham has the sense to sit back and let or happen, or occasionally remind a guest that they also have a similar anecdote 😅

Where does he say 'I want to like Madonna'? He very clearly says 'I like Madonna'.

Graham Norton Show is definitely global. I flew from the middle east to london to attend a show back in 2019.

I know if I'm down in the dumps, a clip of Graham will always make me laugh, whether it's his show, or him doing an interview like he is here.

Graham Norton, I'm in PR 🇵🇷 and I watch your show! Yes you are global and I love you! 💕 Super fan! 🥰
  • It's my guess that it's because he's downright authentic, gently irreverent but not cruel with it and is simply lots of fun. Can't help but believe that he's a genuinely lovely soul, bless him.

Graham is the best talk show host ever. It is impressive how he can manage five or six different guests on the same couch for almost an hour and everyone participates actively. He is wrong when he says he is not famous worldwide. I watch him from Brazil and I am not talking about the shorts only. I watch the full episodes and his show is responsible for my good listening comprehension skills in British English. About Madonna. I've been following her since the mid 80s and I can tell you she is not an easy person. She's had a big fat ego since she was born. If you have patience to watch her first interview with Graham Norton (back in 2012) you will see how little respectful she is. The Madame X interview, for me, was her most embarrassing moment on TV. There were, I don't know, four or five other people on the couch and she was so rude in her words and behaviour. The "I am not used to sharing couches" moment, if I were the host, she would probably have been invited to leave the stage and never come back. She's always talked about respect, but she doesn't know how to respect. Sir Ian McKellen was sitting right next to her and was a real gentleman. Oh, I love it when Carey Mulligan is on the show. Sometimes I think she has no idea how brilliant she is.
  • I've been watching The Graham Norton Show (not just clips) in the US since 2007 and don't think I've ever missed an episode. It's one of my favorite shows. I love the interaction between Graham and his guests and all of their stories, and if I'm ever feeling down, watching an episode of The Graham Norton Show always lifts my spirits. I just wish he could book Lisa Kudrow on the show. She's the only one of the six Friends that hasn't been on the show yet.
  • I’m in Utah and still watch every episode of his show and anything he does ❤

I'm an American living in America and I watch full episodes of The Graham Norton show all the time. It's one of my favorite shows. Pretty sure Madonna is a narcissist so good luck with that. Thank you , Mr. N., for introducing me to so many extremely talented British people--including you! Also many thanks for The Big Red Chair 🤣😍
