  • For those of us who can never visit, this is an amazing alternative . Thank you so very much ❤
  • I've seen several documentaries about Hampton Court, but never with so much detail and background information. Simon, your video tops them all! I so enjoyed this personal guided tour.

Im an Irish woman who is facinated with the Tudor history its been my dteam for 30 yesrs to go there but as per something always " came up " but now for my 60th birthday present from my family i will finally see for real what iv dreamed about for so long. I love English history its wonderful. Cant wait. ❤
  • My ancestor Henry Howard the earl of Surrey was a frequent visitor at Hampton Court. Love hearing about it
  • @Valarie834
I got to visit here just a few years ago with my mum and son. It was so awesome to walk in. Place where so many historical figures walked. Also the little graffiti marks from 1500 to 1700 is cool.
  • Loved my visit to Hampton Court. Number 1 on my list of places to see. It was surreal just walking around knowing who had lived there.
  • I have watched almost every video on Hampton Court. Yours is the best I've seen. You took your time & covered everything. Even the grape vine. I loved it. Thank you again!! I'm the one that asked for a video on Chavanage House. Have you gotten there yet? I'm a pest, sorry. It does have a chapel & other ancient out buildings. I'm still a fan & I will be watching. Thanks again!
  • Thank you so much for letting me tag along with you! So beautiful to see.On to the next.... Take care!
  • Enjoyed as usual. Loved the gardens and the kitchen. Very interesting. Hugs and blessings.

Wonderful tour of a beautiful palace. I live just up the road and almost all of my school trips were to Hampton Court and I've been back many times since. I have never managed to get in to see those tennis courts. One day haha.

I worked at Hampton Court for 4 years in the mid to late 80s and your documentary is the best!
  • What an amazing place, the workmanship and the art never ceases to amaze me. Compare that to the bland facades on buildings built now. You could spend days there and still miss some of the building and gardens. Thank you once again Simon and Will. I love it when I see you have added a new clip though I often go back through your ever increasing library of amazing visits to places that I would never otherwise visit. Thank you again.
  • @usafloridaNP
Thank you very much for the review of the palace. I am very interested in the Tudor period.
  • Wow! What a fantastically beautiful building! Thank you for sharing😊👏👏👏
  • One of the more personable entries on this topic which can never be told enough. Excellent narration without the usual affectation, pleasant on the ears. Thank you for this very good telling.
  • @crazymom454
Thanks for the great video. Im from Wash DC but I took my Florida grandson there this past March and I was afraid that we had missed a lot, but based on this video, we didn't miss much which made me happy. It was so lovely to have so much of the gardens to ourselves since we visited during covid on a day with few visitors.
  • @Annonere
Best tour of Hampton Court by far. Your shots are lovely and professional, you give just enough detail, and you show us everything, including the various gardens and what their uses were. Thank you for this amazing tour! I hope to go in person myself someday.
  • Wonderful video. It was far too cold to visit the gardens when I was there over 10 years ago. So glad you filmed it. You do a lot of research and have fascinating trivia.
  • @brandieo6165
Wow! What a beautiful palace! I love the astronomical clock & the detail work on the ceilings. I must add it to my growing bucket list. As always, many thanks for your videos. I truly look forward to each & every one.
