There should be 0 homeless in the streets if they actually used 28 billion dollars to solve homelessness. Where did that money go? No audit?
  • @mrsleep0000
The activists should open their homes to the homeless, what hypocrites.
  • Its $3500 in rent because you're trying to live in San Jose. The US is a big country. You don't need to be in San Jose

A lot of these car campers need to learn how to stealth camp. Camping in groups, brings attention to them. Especially when they leave their garage all over the place

If i were a former felon id stay far away from encampments since there are so many drug users there and even if you don’t participate in the consumption or market you could easily get caught up if the police end up on site. Look for safer parking or camping or shelter space. The drugs and crime are the reason the neighbors don’t want an encampment but they are also a threat to you as a former felon!!

Activists enabled all this. They need to shut up.

Stop lying to the Raymonds of the world! Why should he expect to own a home in CA when there are millions of WORKING tax payers without a criminal record who should be 1st to get affordable housing? Raymond.... Pack your backpack and move to an affordable state where employers need workers and will give you a second chance. My brother wasted decades hoping for a housing miracle. In 2024, he is now old and struggles to keep housing.
  • Get the Newcomers out of the hotel and put the homeless there
  • @moogs
The advocates should offer their homes or backyards then.
  • @RacerX1971
Governments fault...they let this go on for too long..
  • @10-OSwords
Affordable housing for WHO? People who make over $100,000/year $250,000/year????
  • @lollipop-zp2uy
Yes, thats a consequence of being a fellon. Thats why most of us prefer not being one.
  • Cities and counties do not want to house the homeless. Not when there’s billions to be made on their suffering.

The real problem with the homeless encampments is majority of the people homeless are drug addicts who live in these man made tents by personal choice. People like the man at 1:53 who have honest reasons for being homeless are the people who truly need a place to live

If you're living in an RV and someone has to clean up around your RV, you might brpe a source of some problems.
  • @Nora-ei4ph
This will now have more shelter hoppers and nomadic homeless displaced .

Housing being long term is BS from the Mayor. It takes months, just months, to build a house. A single year to build an apartment complex. That's short term. They could build a dozen apartments by next Christmas if they actually put the money to it instead of nonprofits and their friends.

Enablers never learn the lesson.. They Feed them and create the problem. The receivers become Dependent. They become unproductive.

As much money has been spent to help people, it seems like the $ isn't moving the needle. I wonder how much actually makes it to the streets. Do gooders or Dough grabbers?
