I know EXACTLY what John is going through. He’s playing a game with a friend, but he’s so bad at it that he’s gotten to the point where he would quit if he was by himself, but he can’t quit because he’s with a friend whose having fun. The friend is also trying to cheer him up, but it doesn’t come off well because John has become really bitter and sad.

I was playing Pokemon Omega Ruby which was my Christmas present. This is a great thing to watch while doing some grinding on my team. I finally beat Pokemon Omega Ruby. Dear God, and it was intense. Imagine beating Steven with a team in the mid forties and low fifties. And only 2 faints. Also I did the delta episode the day after beating Steven. And I also caught Deoxys. It took me forever to feel like updating but after I caught Deoxys, I put it in the box, and did the elite four, first try. Also barely used that Rayquaza. only once. In Glacia, for some dumb reason. idk what I was thinking

Speaking of catch combos... This is the only game I've ever done dedicated shiny hunts, so heres some stories cause I just feel like putting them here. I wanted to get a shiny zubat for my partner, and they love the zubat line, and I got it with a catch combo of 16. And then I decided I wanted a shiny vulpix cause I absolutely adore nintails' shiny. That one took me a catch combo of 463 before I got it. I didnt even need to go that high since the odds dont go up anymore past like 33? But that's what I got it at. Then I wanted another to gift to a friend, and I went up to around 423 this time, and I saw sparkles in the sky. I immediately got on my dragonite and flew up, and boom. Shiny dragonite. I freaked out and ran into it and just used everything so I could get it. Then the run animation started. I yelled and threw my last ultra ball. Caught it at the last second I possibly could. Still my most prized team member on let's go. (Also have found at least 6 shinys from the pidgey line)

I ran away from a Shiny Jigglypuff today because I didn’t want to break my Rattatta catch combo while hunting for Growlithe… found a shiny Rattatta a little later and about an hour later that Growlithe I needed! :)
