Small Display Case | A Dad & Son Project!

Published 2018-06-21
I absolutely love that my son Ian came to me with a project idea that he wanted to build with me. While the negative is that he broke his wrist a few months ago, after getting signatures from us, the kids at school and his teachers, it turned into a bit of a badge of honor. He got the idea after seeing a trophy case, and wanted to build a display case for his cast. And as usual when he joins me in the shop while the camera is on, he is "the goofball"!

This was definitely some good quality dad/son time where he had fun and hopefully learned a few things along the way!

** Woodworking can be dangerous. These are not instructional videos, but documentation of the woodworking I do in my shop. Of course I'd be really happy if someone does learn from them, just as much as I'd like to learn from others.

Please follow all safety precautions and procedures that make sense in your shop. **

That outro was the best. I want him to come wrap up my videos for me. Hahaha I wish I had someone to hand the screwdriver off to when I got bored!

Nice one! You should put a little plaque with the date he broke his wrist and when it was removed :)

They are interessted in what i do but we are not working together on a project. they have already played a role in one of my previous videos. The result is realy beautiful. You are a good woodworker!
