If you told me there was a featured vocalist for this song, I’d have believed you. Brian’s range is so unreal it’s fucking nuts.

Holy fuck this song is BRUTAL. Brians more death metal-esque screams and growls have gotten so much heavier, on top of his normal metal screams already being meaty af. This goes so hard.

You know a song is so good and you’ve been waiting so long for it when your first listen has you laughing in excitement during a breakdown or intro riff. I absolutely love the feeling of first listens when the song is so good. I haven’t felt this feeling since make them suffers doomswitch last year and I listen to ALOT of bands

That absolutely brutal section at about 2 mins in, had me literally freaking out, I was so caught off guard and just kept repeating “Holy f*ck”, lol. I’m excited to listen through the rest of the album. I wish it was a bit longer tbh tho, by adding another ballad/song or two maybe, but I’m sure it will be quality over quantity. A 10 song banger-fest with an “all killer, no filler” kind of attitude, akin to Phinehas’ album in 2021.

Currents have one of, if not the most, consistent discographies out of any band I've come across. I really appreciate how they experiment to keep things fresh but still keep a very distinct Currents sound unlike other bands in the scene cough Architects cough
