The thing about Civil War is that Thing and Wolverine are the only ones actually doing the smart thing and realizing that there's a fight that the heroes should be fighting instead of each other and are really the only ones to make it out as the better people. Ben just straight-up leaves and Logan goes after the ones actually responsible.
