Fire Suppression Foam Test at John C. Tune Airport (JWN)

This morning, we tested the fire suppression system in a new hangar at John C. Tune Airport (JWN), our sister airport. Fire-suppressant foam covered the hangar floor, up to the tops of several blue barrels, in just over a minute -- beating the requirement of attaining that volume in four minutes.

All told, more than 3,600 gallons of foam filled the hangar. The system passed with flying colors! #EmergencyPreparedness

Ah a sea of forever chemicals for a show and tell. Fire suppression foam is a leading cause of groundwater contamination.
