The only one I disagree with is Steve Harvey. He’s doing just fine.
  • @SidneyMosley
Janet really didn't deserve the amount of negative backlash that came her way while Justin's career basically skyrocketed afterwards...
  • Steve Harvey owning up to the mistake IMMEDIATELY afterwards, right on the air, took all the blame and owned it--he's doing just fine. A lesson for us all, if you ask me 👍😍

Martin Short is an absolute class act with how he handled Kathy Lee's blunder. Kudos Mr Short ❤

I’m so glad Janet Jackson recovered from this. She’s an icon and deserves all her flowers.
  • You’re telling me Steve Harvey could have just let the mistake go? And chose to expose himself? That’s kind of admirable honestly.

I gotta say, regarding the Martin Short interview, that to keep talking about your dead wife like that, simply to avoid another person embarrassment, shows an inhuman level of selflessness and class.
  • I felt bad for Janet Jackson. It took her many years to recover after the Superbowl.

When you know what really happened with Mili Vanilli it's actually tragic. They were basically puppets for their record company and took all the heat when it fell apart. Fabriz couldn't take it and ended himself. R.I.P What's sadder is that they could actually sing, but the company only wanted them for their looks.
  • Justin sings “I’m gonna get you naked by the end of this song” and then rips Janet’s dress, and it’s Janet’s fault? How?

You've got to hand it to Martin Short. He handled Kathy's screwups like a pro. What a guy. And Steve Harvey, took responsibility for his mistake, and made no excuses for it.

I've long been a fan of Martin Short. I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for him now, as well. That had to be so difficult to sit and joke his way through. So many celebrities are divas, and would have made a big scene and stormed off. This shows the strength of this man's character.

I still don’t understand why some musicians still try to lip sync despite the number of times it has spectacularly backfired and damaged a lot of musicians careers
  • @AdiTwriteon
Sinead O’Connor was right and the world turned their back on her.
  • My God, that Martin Short one made me so sad. I couldn't imagine being able to hold it together like he was.
  • This feels more like a “celebrity screw up” video rather than a “celebrities destroyed their own careers” list as most of the famous people mentioned either bounced back in success or suffered little to no ramifications.
  • @gutterpunk4203
Sinead O'Connor did nothing wrong, she was taking a hardline stance against pedophilia in the catholic church, it was a powerful statement that deserved applause, but instead was met with threats and the downfall of a talented musician's career. RIP Sinead, your music and your message touched my life
