i love that sarah christ is the only person/character that is allowed to dismantle the chosen into his realism. like we all KNOW that he's the closeted nerd and mom's basement type, but only sarah can highlight that. the chosen also has a genuine aura to him everywhere else, but with sarah christ that also gets dismantled

these themed trivial pursuits kinda just proved to me that character-based improv is really one of the areas where the cast shines best. it limits the material they can throw out to make their opponent laugh, but also just heightens everything they do because with each answer it's like more insane lore is being dropped 😭
