Therapeutic watching you Julie! :) Love your "crack on" attitude - it is inspirational. But I am praying that things get easier/better for you and your Mum!!

Don't know why but I've never been able to get any poppy seeds to germinate, and I've tried for many years. Thanks for the update :-)

You mentioned problems with potting compost. I am now, after several disastrous years, avoiding compost with green waste in it. Shame because of loss of peat mosses but I am sure people put weedkiller ridden plants into the recycling system.
  • Nice update Julie, can hear those pesky starlings in the background! Lol.
  • I have a ton of poppy seedlings "sprouts" is what I call them. They only have 2 tiny leaves...but they are bunched up and look like grass! However am I going to divide them πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ?
  • They look like grass I have so many bunched up! This is what they look like 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱if I let them grow anymore, will they choke each other out?
  • my poppy plants have grown to a good size. I want move them to a different garden. Any tips to help them succeed?

I really enjoy your videos. They’re so calming, to me. I don’t know why, but I find your hoop house and voice, comforting. Thanks for the education. I just sowed my first poppies, today. I probably am late on getting them started and sure they won’t like the Tennessee heat. So, maybe I will have luck, sowing, in the fall.
