Combat the forgetting curve (Revisit old topics for long term memorization. Flash Cards, Quizlet. Anki etc.) 7. Learn the same thing using different methods/techniques (Learn a topic via: reading, doing, watching) 8. Connect different ideas/memories using a mindmap (Chatmind) 9. Discover what type of learner you are (Auditory, Visual, Kinesthetic)

    This is pretty useful for someone looking to study again with a full time job!
  • This extremely helped me: you need a complete distinction between your studying and relaxing routine. For example, I'm using two browsers. One is for study content. PURELY studying, not the Jordan Huberman's stoic videos. I even have two google accounts to avoid trash content pop up on my study account recommendation (I push "Don't recommend cahnnel" if I see this). The second one is for relaxing content. You need to somehow limit any access to anything that distracts you. Like go studying in library (not at home). While in a library put your phone in your bag (not on your table) etc. More limitations you have, the better result is. Basicaly it feels like you have no choice but studying. However, i'd avoid studying really fast (unless you're revising for exams). There was a time when I used to read almost every day, while usually I read only once a week. There was a huge difference in results. I almost forgot the book I was reading every day. Even revising didn't help. You either slow down, or focus on some other things instead. There should be a gap between studying if you want to remember anything.

    This entire video was meant for me I really needed this and I appreciate you making a video for all the people like me that feel like they are stupid when really not everyone learns the same way and I like how you said it in such a kind manner instead of saying it in a mean way omg this was literally so pure and kind definitely subscribing and I will definitely use these methods and see how they work for me btw your not the only one that needs every single one of these methods but its nothing wrong with that because that's why you created this video to help people who are going through the same things you went through that's why we all have our own journeys in life because sometimes they can help other ppl dealing with the same thing.💗

    Thank you for doing this. My process of learning is similar and I’ve faced many of the same problems, but without any supporting understanding of the why and how it works. Your explanation makes a lot of sense and I feel empowered to take more control. I’ve been told to “eat the frog” when completing daily tasks, but there was no explanation of why it worked, your solution to take the cold shower to reduce dopamine makes a lot of sense and lowers the barrier required to get a reward from the following task. This also explains why looking at my phone in the morning breaks my flow as my dopamine level is then set too high and any following task is unsatisfying. You’ve provided a number of tools I need to review and try for myself, thanks again for sharing.

    hi Tina, brings us a video about: how to summarize books by dropping a pdf file into chatgpt and get the key points from the book when you don't have much time to read or you simply don't want to read it all.
  • Things I learned that will work for me are First is that whatever information I m supposed to take I associate it with the memory and knowledge I already have . Then if I have to remember it I have to use different methods to do so , removing from my mind that I m dumb and can’t remember it. Different methods includes trying to learn by listening audios , making videos for it or using anke for spaced repetition. Also have to remember that procrastination can be overcomed using dopamine boost method , where I can spike up my dopamine levels by doing an unlikely task , which for me is organizing my room and doing workout also some days talking to people . It is very useful for me , will improve my studies applying then all ,thank uh so much❤
