One part of the Jerry interview that is being overlooked is when he stated that he knew Cee-Dee was going to be a Cowboy for the next 3 years. He acknowledged there are 2 franchise tags available to use on him. I wonder if they looked at the 'going' rate for a receiver of Cee-Dee's capability ($35m per year?) and compared it to the cost of the franchise tags and came to the determination the franchise tags would be less expensive. I haven't heard anyone discussing this.

Who really has the leverage though? Can the Cowboys beat the Browns/ravens/steelers/lions/49ers (5 of 7first games). WITHOUT Lamb?? Cowboys NEED lamb.
