I like to give The Grinch's moms the benefit of the doubt and assume that, by the time they realized where he was, it was too late. Plus, they probably faced a lot of pressure from the rest of the Whos to stay away from him

I love the way Jim Carrey sang the iconic song "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" while adding his own comedic elements to it like the hilarious sound effects. And his freak out when the sleigh takes off. "We're going to die!! We're going to die!! I'm going to throw up, and then I'm going to die!! Mommy, tell it to stop!!" Also, I really love how the actress who played Cindy Lou, Taylor Momsen went on to be the front woman and lead singer of a band called The Pretty Reckless. Also, I can sympathize with The Grinch, having been a victim of bullying growing up. I know the feeling of not liking people because of it.

There was something legitimately terrifying to me about when the Grinch first turns towards the camera at the beginning of the movie, scared the absolute shit out of me, still does, I gotta look away when he first turns around 😭😭
