I hate how everyone blamed Nintendo instead of Aaron Peters

As somebody who is just getting into Garry's Mod, this situation is basically a whole can of worms. We don't even know if it's real of not. The developers honestly should just take their time off and, read the documents instead of, rushing into conclusions. But at the end of the day, I'm glad that most of these addons are still here, and I'm hoping that there's a brighter future for fellow GMOD Fans.

This is so true my guy I knew that the Nintendo wasn't the culprit but that bastard troll who pretended to be a Nintendo lawyer should pay and go to jail

I remember someone saying that it won't stop at Nintendo addons and he will be going after other gaming addons too. And he's correct, as I have heard that a bunch of Sonic addons were dmca'd too. That should be enough to prove that these are false dmca's. If he is not stopped, the workshop will suffer as millions of addons get falsely taken down.

Honestly I knew this wasn't Nintendo for one reason: Why wait 20 years and do this when GMOD is pretty much past it's prime and popularity? Sure it's still super popular but it's not at its peak anymore, and we all know if Nintendo is gonna drop the Legal Thowmp, they'll do it swiftly.

Well I don't Blame the Real Nintendo, the Only thing I blame was Aaron Peters who's been Trolling, pretending to be a Nintendo Lawyer, and taking down some of the Addons.

This situation is ridiculous and unacceptable! How dare those who would like to do some things very bad to Nintendo that have anything to do with games, movies, and other things. Look, Nintendo has done some bad things, but Nintendo also has done some good things. Here's the thing, sending a death threat or doing something very harmful to Nintendo is unacceptable, and that's wrong. Never send death threats and/or do harmful things to companies👎🏿😠 oh by the way, whoever is Aaron Peterson is not the only one because there are some out there who have been doing doing some bad things with/without realizing about what they're doing and they've done without regret😠😒

While Nintendo is overly harsh about their copyright, I think they might be even harsher on someone who faked a Nintendo DMCA. They're gonna sue Aaron Peters of everything he has... and then some.

I hope somebody forwarded this information to FacePunch and Gary himself because god knows what may happen if all those mods get lost too the void.

I did lose a lot of splatton models, so not every Nintendo mods are safe sadly 😔
