  • “I looked into the future once. It looked back, and told me to mind my own bloody business” - Madam Xanadu
  • I can actually do tarot, and you got everything right. Tarot basically shows you where you're at and gives you a guid of what could happen depending on your choices

Anyone else a wiccan, pagen, witch, or an eclectic like myself? I find it all very fascinating, since I was very young and as I got older, magick in the real world was different (obviously). What attracted me was that, it can interconnect with every mythos and religion, besides the abrahamic ones. I, personally, use tarot cards as a way of self divination, that can help me figure some things out in my life, and it's always interpreted differently as to what I felt it could connect to. There isn't a very specific way to know the future, but it could help with things that happened, that could be affecting the present, and help move on to the future better. If that makes any sense to anyone

DUDE!!! I READ YOUR BOOK ON GREEK MYTHS. The writing was spectacular. Your use of language and literary techniques goes above and beyond. But you should continue with a second part. Maybe delve deeper into Psyche but mainly, I believe Jason and the Argonauts deserves a reincarnation by your writing. Also, great video as always.

Have you considered doing videos on African myths and Gods of the Yoruba, Akan, Zulu, Dogon of Mali who are just as rich in substance and quality?
  • My great grandmother read tea leaves. She discovered my grandma was pregnant before she announced it.
  • I used to call it bs till I learned how to do it from family. (I'm always skeptical at first)I use 3 types voodoo, blood magic, but primarily omerimancy and Dream Walking. Eerily with my primary divination they always come true unless the events change which they can happen. My sister does Tarot . I can't predict anyone's future nor my own. I can only see glimpses and or out comes. This video is a great .

It's not about reading the future - it's about getting answers from your subconscious mind.

I'm a (not very good) occultist. While I'm always spectacle about my results, one thing I do know how to divine whether my district manager will stop by for a visit. Every morning I do a short meditation and draw a tarot card. WHENEVER I drew the Queen of Swords I knew my DM was coming. It's a running joke at my store that after 8 years of practice all I do is tell when my DM is visiting

I read tarot, usually not for free (low cost though), but there are times, especially when the client is emotionally exhausted or I notice they’ve been through rough shit that I don’t charge them for the reading (not tryna get compliments for my attitude though, it’s the ethical thing to do) I usually charge for readings because it is tiring to use my energy into knowing which card to draw and interpret as I talk with my client (involves some intuition that doesn’t come naturally, like a feeling of not crossing some random street, but it’s like I have to force the intuition to come) I charge for the exhaustion I have to do the readings But depending on which kind of reading one would want, it’d be roughly a dollar to to five dollars

In the Anakin Skywalker case, there is another interesting part. What leads him astray is a dream that he believes predicts the death of his wife Padme an event he comes to believe he can prevent by becoming more powerful but the things he does do reach that goal ends up being the reason Padme in the end dies. The dream was not a prediction -it was a warning.
  • Personally I use runes on a daily basis. Though admittedly I need to study more into the different practices they're used in, I simply use them as guides for the day. Some parts involve the weather, others involve encounters I may have at work, or the odd occurrence for the day.

I recently bought a tarot deck and tried it out on a friend and it seemed pretty accurate. I can't say with confidence that i believe in magic per say but in that moment I felt magical.
