The Northshore School District said the incident did not occur on any school campus, and it was outside of work hours. However, the district is investigating what happened on April 30, and some parents are asking why they are just learning about it now.
“A lot of parents were raising questions,” said Jessica Parker, who has a student in the district.

They should be fired immediately

Parents should be pushing for them to be fired. Coke heads are taking care of innocent kids. What is this world coming to

Parents should file a class-action lawsuit for civil litigation, at school board knowingly allowing drug addicts be in charge of children

Government doesn't act and then calls for gun control when a known risk is mot reacted to.

I would think drug use is more common in the upper middle class having grown up around those people

Why shouldn't who care for children have the same right to illegal drug use that the homeless and criminals do?
-
They should both be offered drug counciling paid for by their employer and put on leave.

Wtf 😮

I guess I forgot I think Washington decriminalize drugs so it's actually not a crime to be high on cocaine

I thought we don't incarcerate for non violent crimes anymore. 🤔. Leave them alone. If they want to snort lello into their snizz, let them.

So dramatic, I definitely think they need to go to rehab before returning to work and maybe have probation for a year or two but its not like anyone was hurt. Take a moment and think about all the mind altering drugs prescribed to people including teachers, doctors, delivery drivers and basically all other professions. We could fight to have them fired and add to the homeless drug addict problem or we would offer them a chance and show the kids what compassion looks like.

Would it be reasonable and fair to fire someone due to a psychotic episode from schizophrenia? Addiction is an illness. We need to treat it as such. Yes administrative leave is necessary, yes there should be an investigation into whether this issue spilled over into work life. But automatically fired? What are we teaching kids if we punish people for being sick? If we don’t give people chances to improve?
