The ESP E-II Series are guitars and basses we produce in our Japan-based factory, and represent a more affordable way to experience the quality of ESP along with all the build quality and high-end components you expect for professional performance. In this video, Cameron Stucky of Redwood City, CA-based metal band Crepuscle demos two of our finest E-II models: the Horizon NT-II in Tiger Eye Amber Fade finish, and the Horizon NT-II in Blue-Purple Gradation. These are similar models with neck-thru-body construction and quilted maple tops, with a slightly different set of pickups: the Tiger Eye version is new for 2019 and includes the EMG 66TW/57TW set that are splittable. I own the black sunburst version of this Horizon NT2 and it is literally the best guitar I've ever played, including the old Standards that I have played, I believe ESP had to up their game on these E2's compared to the Standards because now they can't just rely on the ESP on the headstock, these guitars HAVE TO be amazing for them to still sell at Standard prices. The construction is absolutely flawless and once you put this guitar in your hands and strike that first note you'll instantly realize why these guitar's cost as much as they do. It was worth every penny. E2 isn't a new thing anymore...now when you play an E2 in front of people they know exactly what it is, an ESP Standard built in Japan at the ESP factory. Love this guitar. If your on the fence about buying one, JUST DO IT! I don't know a single person that regrets buying one.

Bought it 1 week ago. Never felt so much love to an object :D
  • I love this sound! it's a very clean type of distortion, meaning it's not too much of a gritty or scrapping industrial type of metal tone. The Black Metal LTD series has the same idea but it sounds more "evil" (not necessarily a bad thing ;-)) so this sound here could probably fit a broader spectrum of Metal genres.

What song was that from, or is it just jamming?

Why have you stopped putting stainless steel on them?

It plays very well, what is the difference in tone between E-II and ESP? Thank you.

I bought the blue-purple one. I love it, but I want the Tiger Eye one too. When will it be available on AMS or Zzounds or Sweetwater?
