  • Man. When I was a little kid my dad used to play this constantly. I remember him lying on the floor in front the TV with the NES controller in his hands. Must have been 88/89. Time flies.
  • I like how the enemies are clapping after the game is beat as the boss yells at them😅

I love how you could be standing infront of them, and they're still moving around searching for you....

What other nes game has implied rape scenes, and allows you to go out shooting spacemen and the KKK? Truly a classic.

Just finished this game. Last level is quite challenging but one interesting thing I observed and wanted to share is that the final boss does not appear until you have exhausted your MG ammo. Best to just unload it all from one side of screen to make it easy, then do mostly low shots against him except for when he fires high. You should have enough ammo if you got all pickups in the level and don't fire too fast on him unnecessarily.

This was my favorite game for the NES when it was out. Loved the arcade game but really enjoyed it at home.

I remember the arcade version of this game but not the NES version. Well done.
  • I loved this game in the arcades back in the 80's. This is a great port for an 8-bit console👍

This looks like a great conversion, graphics wise and also gameplay. Shame I didn't get chance to play this when I was a kid.

Great job in beating that insanely tough game, Rolling Thunder.

Finally found this game , I saw it on Namco Museum (Nintendo Switch) !! I played this when I was a kid I can't even read yet but grown ups called this "James Bond" game turns out its a completely different game title. glad I found this.

Very tough old school game, a bit tougher than the second game, way tougher than the third. They are all pretty damned fun run and gun titles though. Save Leila in this game, get to use her in the second game, then get stuck with a jabroni named Jay, and another hidden lady character in the third game.

Man I miss playing this as a child
  • I was the only person I ever heard of actually owning this game in the 90s. It was really fun and i remember Geldra was easy because I had enough MG to wipe him out fast.

I still remember this game had one of those special cartridges that was curved at the top; made me feel all special for owning it, lol.
  • One of my favorites..remember playing this on an old coin op in a convinience store for hrs
  • Tougher than the arcade, and graphically for an 8 bit nes game very close to the arcade.
