Phase effect in the audio was cool. I caught it!
  • @JoeNo310
This was perfectI I had this idea to mix a guitar direct-in with a mic'd amp and realized there was a slight phase issue, and hearing you explain it so clearly was very helpful.

I used to just go direct but now I record my guitars through an SM57 mic’d to my amps. (BOSS Katana MK2 & Orange CR60C)

    That intro is life bro.
  • @artboysf
That was really easy to understand but also detailed! I would be interested to hear a compariison of a mic-ed amp and a virtual amp.

  • Thanks very much! This is the best tutorial about putting a mic to your cab. 🎥🏆🎶🎵 I’m always trying to get the sound as good as possible in my own videos so this really helps! 🐇🇺🇸⭐️🎶 Have a happy Easter! Again, thank you!

"When will Then be Now", damn that was a good line. Dark Helmet couldn't have said it better!

The phase effect on the audio is very helpful
  • Great video. I do the same combination: DI for lows and a reamped channel for mids/highs. Super clean lows and more character and ear-friendly mids/highs at the same time!
  • @zarcero21
    Excellent video. Very well explained.

There's tube amps like the Ampeg PF50T and Fender Bassman 100T, that use post power amp signal. So you can get tube power distortion through the DI and make the stage PA system the tube amplifier itself
  • @santiagolmateos
Great video! Congrats! You really know your craft. Im planning on getting an Aguilar Toner Hammer DI pedal for on stage settings. This way I would use my amp as a monitor and send the DI into de mixer. Would you agree this a good setting (on a budget)?

First, that bass sounded amazing. I preferred the D.I sound the best. I have an Gk plex that I have to level things down cause it wants add to much to my mix. I also bought a ampeg scr that give me option to play direct without the preamp. Overall they both have their uses. Love them both. Great video
