VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
Hi everybody,
On 23rd of July 2024, finance minister Nirmala Sitharam presented her 7th consecutive union budget!!
And since its the budget right after elections, it has caused an absolute chaos in the country.
While our ex finance minister P chidambaram said that the BJP has copied a few policies from the congress manifesto, nitin kamath has predicted a slowdown in the stock market due to the rise of capital gains!! On top of that, ministers from various states (aaditya thackeray etc) have come forward to say that the BJP has strategically favoured andhra pradesh and Bihar for political gains states.
On the other side, while Kerala and Manipur have suffered deep financial crisis, they havent got a mention in the budget!!!
And lastly, the middle class seems to be enraged because of taxes taxes and taxes!!!
So, in this video today, we will try to break down the union budget 2024 with a simple language to help you understand,
What is the BJP’s strategy for this year’s budget ?
Which sectors are expected to get the biggest boosts or cuts in funding?
Are there any changes in tax benefit the taxpayers?
What are the major criticisms of this budget?
Which companies are on the watchlist of investors?
But most importantly, apart from all the noise around the budget, as investors, what are the top companies that you should keep a watch over?

How could you miss the removal of Indexations? That's a huge blow to the middle class people
  • @hullbruce
Did you guys catch the latest US CPI numbers? They're showing a significant increase. Looks like inflation might continue to rise. How can I impact my portfolio of $400,000 which has taken a big hit in recent times?.

I am someone who supported most of the steps taken by this government. I understand the fiscal deficit needs to be ropped in, but overtaxing the minority tax payers is too much. There has been increase in corruption, taxpayers money is being given to freeloaders. Hiding behind poor farmers the corrupt burecracy, rich and politicians get away with their black income. Instead of taxing these rich corrupt fellows they are over taxing a tired middile class. A brief example in a city like Mumbai a dhobi wala earns approximately a minimum of 1200 rs that coverts to approximately 30k a month. Now a person who earns that much in mumbai still pays around 3000 taxes, but he still will not get subsidized food for his family which the dhobi wala gets( as per the family size), plus he gets to build a home (nothing against that), where as a salaried perosn who pays taxes on buying rashan ( daal, atta, rice which dhobi gets for free), will also struggle with buying a house. He is also now paying taxes on his savings which he invests. How on earth that is fair to the honest tax payers? If your income rises disproportionately IT will raid your premise, but no such questions asked from our corrupy netas who enjoy all the subsidies, only sloganeering in their work place ( parliament) and yet see more than 100% increase in their net worth. Then we ask why is their a brain drain our nation, I ask what are we doing to keep talent in our country? The whole system is geared up to promote dishonesty but we all pay lip service to promote honesty, 'Amrit kaal' and' Ram rajya' cannot be achieved on dishonesty and corruption. 5 trillion dollar economy would be un-achiveable on such a small tax base, need maor rejig in education system and taxation of rich farmers.

Nirmla tai showed middle finger to middle class 😅

Modi will loose next election if the govt attitude towards taxpayers continue like this. Also govt is killing lic, nps, ssy, mf etc by not giving any benefits on old regimes.
  • Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.

I used to be from Bihar(I have now managed to "escape" from Bihar and from India and live a respectable life in western country where I am shocked to see what all my tax money can give me in return). Anyways, any SINGLE PAISA spent on Bihar is a paisa thrown down the drain. They gave Bihar 26K Crores !! Arre baap re !! That's 20K crores of taxpayer's money gone into the pockets of netas, corrupt IAS officers, contractors and 5K crores of bridges that will collapse within an year of construction.
  • That line which u said " it doesn't matter if u r a dropout or a phd, if u have the skill u will be paid"......I salute u for creating a new Trend 👍
  • @Gop101
Paying 20% STCG 12.5% LTCG TRANSACTION FEE BROKERAGE STT Stamp duty Getting Poor health facilities Poor infrastructure High corruption Best time to leave India
  • This guy is so much optimistic about this govt that he doesn’t highlight much about the problems they have created for tax payers
  • If the government can't give jobs to fresher then no use of taking admission to college's Or university because taking admission in higher education, they are also call as freshers and you are also not born as educated your parents need to teach you all what you needs in your life.😂😂😅
  • I used to love watching think school videos for their educational videos on business management but lately it's become pro-modi/govt channel which is clear from their recent videos.
  • At this rate Nirmala mam might tax watching YouTube videos at some point 😢
  • We don't mind a 40% tax. I repeat we don't! What we do mind is that nothing is done with this for our welfare :)
  • @n-sta
He mentioned ltcg but didnt mentioned the indexation removal and abolishment of angel tax favoring rich
