I love that Suga is calm as a rock, just being himself!
  • @huyenta7000
His sense of humor is a work of satire, he pulls out the jokes with a perfectly straight face

Suga is not so much shy as he is mature, laid back and introspective. It's not shyness or lack of interest, it's just how he is <3

For those who don't know, he's really neutral about being a food delivery guy not because he's embarrassed, but because he had an accident while doing deliveries and hurt his shoulder really bad, but couldn't afford to go to the doctor then, because he was broke. He suffered with it for almost 9 years and said that sometimes after performing he wouldn't be able to lift his hand. The happy ending is that he finally underwent a risky surgery during covid, got a lot of physiotherapy and is all better now 💜

I love how Suga stays true to himself. He doesn’t try to change who he is or how he acts around people he keeps it real‼️ I can’t imagine how nerve wrecking it is to do these type of promotions alone especially. ARMY WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU YOONGI 💜‼️

I appreciate how Fallon let him speak in Korean, and how he and the audience were considerate of the translation delay. Using Western dancers shows he's trying to connect to the host culture.

I just want to sit and talk to him about interesting stuff. He's so introvert, mysterious and unique

Yoongi’s dry INTJ humor is giving this interview life in a new type of way and we’re all here for it

I love how yoongi is answering in korean, he's such a pleasant & calm man. Loved the bond b/w Jimmy & Suga🤍

Although we ALL KNOW Yoongi is fluent in English, I respect that he respects his language and culture enough to continue to speak Korean in influential spaces. I think it’s a conscientious choice on his part. I think he doesn’t want to lose himself to the western world and find himself only speaking English in these types of situations. (Like the live he did where someone asked him to speak English and he said “no, I will speak Korean”). I am speaking from person opinion but I think it stems from him not wanting to lose that he is a Korean man, born and raised in Korea, and doesn’t want to feel pressured to have to appeal to a western audience if it means he loses who he is and where he comes from. All the other BTS members make an effort to learn and speak English in these types of spaces/situations; and all-while i respect that and think it’s a great life/language/social skill, I immensely respect that yoongi doesn’t conform to anything. He remains completely authentic in all situations. There is something to be said about that. He is very dry most of the time, and those who haven’t followed him or his journey probably wouldn’t fully understand him or who he is watching him, but those who are seasoned fans would totally understand and respect why he is the way he is and why he is who he is. He is completely refreshing to a western audience and I will continue to have nothing but respect for him.

The way yoongi said "are you kidding me" was the cutest thing!😄❤️

Good job to Jimmy for allowing Suga to be on the show with a translator, most american shows don't really care about that. Only Jimmy makes them so comfortable that they feel like themselves and i have to thank him for that, thank you so so much
  • @decalcomani_a
As a very quiet person who always gets told off for it yoongi gives me the confidence to be myself. love how calm and himself he is always
  • @mvp9
It's been 6 years from choosing him as my bias and he keeps being just as charming as day 1, I love him so much and it makes me so happy seeing him expressing himself more openly as an artist and going out there just showing who he is without being scared of the backlash, that's why I love him. And I hope to see him grow more and sucess even more. 💜
  • I love the way this interview was edited. It really felt like the language barrier wasn't there for even a second. I love how there is no pressure on Yoongi to speak in English here. He's just being his shy, cute and witty self. Thank you Jimmy Fallon for this interview! Also no matter name you go by, whether it is Min Yoongi, AgustD, Shooky or Suga, we will always love and support you! 💜
  • @MistikButterfly
Kuddos to Fallon. Suga is not easy to Interview because he doesn't play at nice or aim to entertain. He is just purely himself, and that's not easily understood. I love it! Jimmy Fallon will forever be a legend for being so adaptable and welcoming! The way he has always treated foreign guests is beautiful. Being ARMY, the way he has treated Bangtan is beyond heart-warming 👑💜👑 #APOBANGPO
  • I love the way Suga is proud of talking in Korean, and also the fact that he CAN speak in English if he wants.
  • @SunsetFirefly
He probably doesn’t realize how much of an inspiration he is to so many people throughout the world. Anybody that has struggled with or know someone who has depression, OCD and social phobias know that life can sometimes be rough. Yoongi brings hope and comfort to those who are struggling.
