Our praise leader, Susan Shewbridge, debuts a song I wrote several years ago during a revival. Finally, it has breath and a life all its own. Thanks so much to God's creative spirit and to Susan!

John 14 NKJV says, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

This is intimate worship. It's about a love-sick bride longing intently for the return of the bridegroom... to see him face to face... for him to take her back to his father's house, to the bridal chamber he has prepared just for her. It is the Song of the Bride, the church, to Jesus, the bridegroom.

Remember in John 17:24 NKJV, Jesus prays, 24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world."

He longs for us deeply. This should also be our focus and motivation. He is, after all, our FIRST LOVE.

I hope you enjoy this song. God Bless!!!

Thanks also to Peggy Aldridge for capturing this video!!!
