You can tell which tracks tee were on and which were jun 💀

When I first heard the OST for Pinball Carnival Act 1, I was pleasantly surprised to know that Rintaro Soma was the one who composed the track.

For those unaware, Jun does not use any soundfonts. No Sonic game does. Here he uses Vaccum and XPand!2. Also, real Genesis patches for some songs.

It's not even that I dislike Jun's music tracks in this game... it's just incredibly jarring to go from one composer to the next. Speed Jungle is a perfect example of this

I hope there is a jukebox as DLC so you can play different music for different stages from past games.

I honestly think nuns compositions are really REALLY good, he. Just needs to let go of his instrument choices

I remember hearing lopes wasnt even formally trained, man just knows how to cook naturally

How dare you cut right before the FIRE part of Sand Sanctuary

I love how in quite a few slanders, people use the same garbage can dancing GIF for Fang.
  • There were highs and lows with every aspect of this game but by far the most heartbreaking was when a low point hit with the OST😔

Poor Jun. Bastard never stood a chance being paired up with Tee.

Seriously tho, can we just take a moment to agree the Press Factory Act 1 is fire and fits the zone well. At least, it isn't bad my any means, and is probably the only song by Jun in the OST that actually lives up to the standards of Sonic Music.

What makes me sad is that Jun is fun with his stage compositions at least. The boss tracks just suck. The guy who made Speed Jungle Act 2, Hidenori Shoji, literally has an expansive repetoire of writing battle music for Yakuza, and it's always sounded amazing. Why wasn't he elected to write all of the boss themes?? We could've gotten some amazing pieces.
  • sand sanctuary makes me a bit depressed. Knowing the whole soundtrack could have sounded like that if they just let tee lopes cook it.
  • @Westerland5304
All the good songs are by Tee Lopes, imagine my shock.
  • @corsaircarl9582
That's the one thing about Sonic games, no matter how mid they end up being, the music is ALWAYS so good.

I dont know why Jun has constantly been stuck to these Genesis soundtracks lately. It really feels like Sega themselves just stick him to these projects without knowing his real strengths in music and he just does the best he can. Also im seeing the hidden manipulation by Sega these days. They purposely chose Speed Jungle as the level to showcase the music in this game despite it not being representative of the whole game. Very craft Sega. You prove every little bit why fans leave your franchise more and more each year.
