Animal and human parts do not mix, its common sense

I wouldnt expect ANY other outcome. SMH. Medical establishment, what a joke they have become

What the hell is up with the title? It makes it seems like it was the transplant that failed, but he didn't die from the transplant. What was the cause of death?

Prayers for Richard, his family and friends. His bravery will not be forgotten.

Hopefully if it was the kidney they can figure out why and improve on the procedure.

Exactly what happens when you do unatural experiments on people.

๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’May he Rest In Peace. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ ๐Ÿ’กThis man clearly was convinced by his own mind or by someone else that he should do this in the name of science, medicine and medical history. As with all procedures and therapies after all of the animal experiments & clinical trialsโ€ฆ..at some point they try it out on humans. ๐Ÿ™As a cancer patient & survivor, first and foremost I thank God and I also thank all of the doctors & of the people who sacrificed and participated in medical procedures and clinical trials so that I might have a greater successful outcome with my procedures and chemo therapies. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’

These new innovative transplants will get better over time. New medical procedures always start off a little shaky.

Why do people think animal parts are going to work in human bodies? We have totally different anatomy. May he rest in peace.

Condolences to his family. Issues: #1 Pig's kidney #2 Modified pig's kidney #3 transplanted to a human #4 an African American as first guinea pig #5 so there were no Caucasians on the Kidney transplant list? Man needs to Stop trying to be above his Creator. This man looked too young and could have lived many more years with proper eating and some type of medication. The hospital or clinic probably made sure the family could not sue if something went wrong. A bit of historical reference: "The first transplant of a non-genetically modified pig's heart, lungs and kidneys into a human was performed in Sonapur, Assam, in India in mid-December 1996, and was announced in January 1997. The recipient was Purno Saikia, a 32-year-old terminally-ill man; he died shortly after the operation of multiple infections"
