I love that Pix was given an animal that so few of us know about and just immediately knows this won't end well. Also him in the desert going into survival guide mode, its literally his version of when redstoners like Tango/Etho/Impulse/etc starting talking about redstone. "If I hold a yellow flower in this hand and crouch like this you'll notice....and see thats how you catch a rabbit" is really no different than "If I hook up the hopper clock to this comparator... and then load this binary system here with a chunk loader... and there you have a thing-a-mivator." Every time, mind blown.

Some interesting things I learned from reading about rabbits on the wiki. Rabbits can jump up to two blocks high Rabbits don't fall through powdered snow (neither does silverfish or endermite. I guess they're too light.) Goats can fall through powdered snow, but they're the only entity that actively avoids powdered snow. Speaking of rabbits, they try to stay 10 blocks away from wolves and 8 away from other hostile mobs. A skeleton sinking into powdered snow turns into a stray. Leather boots keeps any entity that can wear them safe from powdered snow. While any leather armor negates freezing damage. Yeah the wiki is quite the attention sink. You look for one thing, then finds another thing.

Honestly, rabbits should be immune to fall damage just like cats, lol.

You could get a decorated pottery urn, and put Hot Pot’s body in it, and have his dandelion above it in a flower pot, then his hide could go to the memorial at your base. Heart and Heartbreak and Friend Sherds are found at Trail Ruins.

Poor little Hot Pot. You should definitely build him a memorial. And make sure to bury him with his dandelion. That's all he ever wanted 😢

If I have a nickel everytime Pix is in charge of keeping someone alive in S.O.S but they ended up dead, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice, right?

There are some mobs in the game that need natural fall damage immunity for thematic reasons. Cats, Rabbits, and Frogs come to mind immediately.
