There is a charity book stand at my workplace where people can donate and buy second hand books for our charity. There's one I've seen on there that is a DIY/Home improvement book called "Doing up a dump". #DoNotRead

I actually had that microwave book. It came with the Sears microwave oven we purchased...our family's first.

I knew it. That Summoning Spirits book is a Time-Life book, I recognized the black faux leather bounding lol. We have a bunch of Time-Life books but about Pirates (actually really cool, too) and ships and maritime stuff.

To be fair, there were a lot of microwave cookbooks in the 80s. My mother had the JCPenney microwave cookbook (back when microwaves were on wheeled carts with the built-in outlets).

My brother had a pet box turtle he hitch-hiked around with. U.S. customs wouldn't let him in with a live turtle, so he stayed in Canada.
