  • Uncool! I’m working today pulling parts out of an abandoned building. Now I’m sweating
  • This is by far my favorite series of yours and I feel you should know every warhammer horror story you’ve covered I’ve listened to on audible. (Watcher in the Rain has been my favorite) You cover just enough to pique interest while still giving the original author room to make their work shine. Please keep this series alive.

It always begins with a guy sending other guys to some place but not giving any information about the mission.

Please please please make more Grimdark Story Hour videos, they are so atmospheric. Every time I finish watching one of them, I just blankly stare at my wall just contemplating the story.

That thumbnail is an accurate depiction of me in school when I spend the entirety of last night playing warframe.

There's a pretty horrific story of a young noble that goes to a forge world and doesn't show the proper respect and ends up being "accidentally" gets swept up and turned into a servitor on his way back to his ship. The descriptions from his point of view of the process is really terrifying. And he's not lobotomized, so he's aware of his situation. I wish I could find that story again to save it.

The second the body reappeared he should have been talking

If I understood well (which could not be the case because English isn't my native language) the desacrated Emperor image is implied to be the artefact casting a curse on the people who take it, driving them into madness. However, in my headcanon, it's just the Emperor's wrath because he is pissed off than nobody tries to fix his portrait.
  • Was at work bored listening to some of your older lore videos got a notification it's a new weshammer video. The God emperor protects... From boredom
  • @cmc7256
Not throwing shade, just a funny thought but... "Here's my video on common misconceptions about why it isn't that horrible living in the imperium all the time." Another Video "Normal people living in the imperium, their life is an actual nightmare!" Lol, again no shade, just made me chuckle.
  • @conan2096
eerie green light from underground you say? skitters off in canoptek spyder
  • This is honestly a fantastic story and it's taught me something. If you want to survive a horror story, you need to have emotional intelligence and be able to be honest with the people around you if I was this guy I would probably have held a meeting and told people that I was compromised in some way and explained what happened and attempted to find some solution that would maintain the safety of myself and the crew
  • @pyttfall9475
Guess I refreshed at the right time, looking forward to this one.
  • @musiclistener13
So lesson of the day: if you find the emperor's portrait defamed or destroyed in anyway destroy it and what ever being saw or heard it
  • Definitely a warp entity of some kind inhabiting the picture of the emperor. The fact that the eyes are scratched out seems like a calling card or maybe even bait. A way to compel the observer to view and keep it. A very insidious curse-like thing that’s super difficult to combat. That’s intense…
