I love the 3ds shiny it looks so vibrant

The 3DS shiny giraffarig also had more reddish-brown spots and hind legs as opposed to the dark cocoa brown. But now the SV shiny giraffarig has a lighter, paler brown instead of the rich reddish-brown.

We got bluer hooves on the gen 9 form! (They were already on the 3DS but at least they kept it)

At this point I'm not even mad about what a shiny looks like just as long and you can easily tell it's a shiny unlike some other shinies (like Gengar!)

One of the rare cases where the 3DS actually increased the saturation for a pokemon. I swear most mons shifted a few shades greyer.

Didn't even notice the yellow swap. I say Pokemon should do a poll for some controversial shinies or perhaps even new pokemon when they reveal them and have the fans decide the color palette

That's the shiny I lost in synchro mode, only to find a shiny Magneton a few minutes later

I did not notice that on the gen 9 sprites. I thought the Pokémon company kept the same colours until you said that the normal and shiny sprite got swapped. My mind has been blown 🤯

smeargle was originally red tipped tail with shiny being green, and they changed it :3

We need one of these on torterra, game freak removing the blue from its shiny should be considered a crime

Honestly don’t mind it, since the nose & mane were the major aspects of the shiny anyway. Plus it’s a new addition to the “regular and shiny got colors swapped” club, even if it’s incredibly subtle

I love how this is about my first shiny, I still remember catching one of those in Pearl when I got lost in the game, and I also remember getting to evolve it when S/V came out

Shiny Girafarig was the first Shiny I found randomly. Back in the olden days of HeartGold

In my opinion, shiny Farigiraf makes up for it anyways. I love Farigiraf's shiny so much (and Farigiraf in-general)
