Shadow was such a bro in this entire series. Plus he loves latinas, he can't be more based than that.
So that concludes the Sonic Prime content I have for this channel. It has been a fun ride, and the series is pretty good. Steamboat Willie animation coming soon.

Shadow was his absolute best in Prime. Grumpy, irritable, vengeful, but loyal to his frenemies and homeland and the perfect protective big bro to Sonic

This Shadow is fleshed out. He is surely grumpy, awkward around strangers, pessimistic and all. But he can also be a loyal friend, sometimes a pain in the ass in the wrong moment. He can also be funny at times.

I'm glad shadow didn't blindly attack sonic out of rage at the beginning, I thought they just reduced shadow's edginess for this show, but no, they full on improved him, he's matured, rational, smart, and as a result, even more badass than the guy we saw in sonic boom, sonic forces, and shadow the EDGEHOG.

7:30 Something about this part makes you really see a different side of Shadow. His eyes shrink and his ears flop. Knowing Shadow so well, that really tells you how bad it really was AND how much he was worried about Sonic You don't see that a lot from him

4:11 god i love how this show is animated, they're really not afraid to mess with the proportions and it makes it really goofy when you pause it but also makes the fights really fun to watch - shadow especially

Going from Boom Shadow to THIS was such a glow up. He isnt even in my top Sonic characters but he was so great in this show. I really love Prime and I wish the fandom was less harsh to it. It clearly does a lot of things right. Still very pleased with the season and show in general. The fact that we even got ROUGE and even BIG to come back in a Sonic show is amazing

Shadow talks up not needing to worry about Sonic's friends, but as soon as a version of Rouge talks him down from something, he listens. Man, I miss Team Dark.

I love this version of Shadow. He's more akin to Piccolo than Vegeta. He's not a particularly social hedgehog, no, but he's not actively angry. More, serious. He's no less heroic than Sonic, he's just not quite as talkative. Plus, Sonic IS his friend. He just won't admit it.
