I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was fifty-four. I have shown depression because I felt hurt that I had a hard time with reading and finding my way around. Then I discovered math. The kids in my class said to me that I could be the math mathematical genius. This didn’t help because the damage was done. It was like the only thing that I could do right. I felt inferior. The numbers were big and I learned that I needed big letters too. I hated reading, but I did read a lot. Every book that I read was like me punishing myself. It was like the words weren’t registering. Everyone in school decided that I was dumb and worthless.
  • Thank you. I am dyslexic. I understand the struggles that others can't.
  • I find it very frustrating that info about dyslexia is written and shown with a speed too high for any with dyslexia to read. :(

The thing about people with learning disabilities. Most of them have stars on their head:spiritual stuff I’m talking about(they become famous and great in the world from music, acting, etc).

I don't have dyslexia. But I do have slight Aspergers, which is a socially or with anyone like people disability. I understand what dyslexia is, it's a learning disorder where anyone like that can't read forwards and they have to listen to what's written down. It's a very moving video about trying no matter what disability you're born with, and what quirks or mistakes more that anyone has or doesn't have.

This may be a help to others who are struggling to keep up with the captions - I found it easier to by changing the playback speed in the settings 😊
