  • So Buzzsaw is holding the Timberjack hostage with a rope… something it could easily cut through or burn up…
  • @tenshi.kurama
I like to think that Hiccup went back from time to time, a few years in between to make sure that toothless' tail fin was properly taken care of, oiled and repaired as was the reason for his visit in the 3rd movie. I would also like to think one of his visits he stayed long enough to put up the portrait for Toothless so he could have something to remember him by, and also the leg piece since I am sure he would either come up with a better version or have to make a new one as he grew

Personally I was never a fan of the light and night furies being two different species but this show made me absolutely HATE those abominable hybrids
  • @AlienHunt705
Nice to know Im not the only one who hates the scales of the night lights.
  • @Nyalbel
I like the idea of Thunder being a hybrid of the Night and Light fury... but did they have to make them so clunky? I don't want to see a recolored Toothless (like so many has done when "fixing" Thunder like the one shown in the vid), but they could have made Thunder so much more appealing to the eyes.
  • @sarcasmAhh
It would be cool if they would start calling the dragons by their names yes, but I'm pretty sure they are not able to read the 1000 year old runes
  • @MegaBrainBoi
My personal reason as to why Thunder and his family look so ugly is one simple word: inbreeding. Toothless was confirmed by Grimul(I don't know how to spell his name so meh) to be the last nightfury in existence, and from what we saw in the Hidden World, this includes the hidden world as being devoid of nightfuries. But there are plenty of lightfuries in the hidden world, so that would mean that toothless' kids would probably mate with lightfuries. However, if the resulting young continue the trend of mating with only lightfuries, then the black of the nightfury genes would eventually be bred out of the lineage and eventually just become lightfuries. The only way for the black of the nightfury to stay in the night lights lineage is for the night lights to mate with their siblings/cousins. That's my personal idea as to how night lights are still around after 1000 years and why they just don't look nice at all.

I think it would be an actually an interesting twist if we find out that the person who went into the hidden world wasn't Hiccup, but Valka. You know, the woman who abandoned her husband, son and people to learn about and protect dragons? I can honestly see her deciding to spend the last twenty or so years of her life in the hidden world, trying to learn as much as she can, then storing it away for future generations.

The night lights textures look so dry😭

Dreamworks is setting up a new series I think. All these things that the Nine Realms has been laying out points to Hiccup and Toothless' adventures together not ending with the final scene of the third film. And the Homecoming holiday featurette actually establishes a reason. Let's examine this a bit. Homecoming is set before the final scene of the third film. In it, we see Toothless' and Light Fury's offspring wandering off to New Berk so they can see for themselves what intrigues their father about that one-legged human. Now jump ahead to the end of the third film when they all fly together... After interacting with Hiccup's kids, and experiencing the jpy of flying with humans, are we expected to believe that the night lights won't keep wandering off to New Berk every chance they get? And what about Zephyr and Nuffink? After that flight, would they settle for a dragon-less life? This can cause serious problems for both New Berk and the Hidden World resulting in the very dangers the separation of Vikings and Dragons was meant to prevent. There is only one solution that will keep everyone safe. Toothless, having been the alpha of The Hidden World for several years now, decreeing that any human who once shared a bond with one of the dragons shall be welcome in the Hidden World if they wish. New Berk would be divided on this. Many will go, but many will stay. Obviously, the original riders will go. Now here's where things diverge. One of Hiccup's grandsons longs for the outside world. That lon ging prevents him from bonding with a dragon of his own. He ultimately leaves the Hidden World and returns to New Berk. Hiccup gives him his helmet to remember the true Legacy of Berk. As time passes and the world changes, the people of New Berk spread far and wide. Eventually, the grandson's progeny relocates to Denmark, where they take the name Kullersen. which is Danish for "Son of Haddock" Centuries later, with the truth not being passed along because one descendant decided that it was just a story and not the truth, we get Thomas Kullersen, descendant of Hiccup, who has the helmet I believe that before all is said and done, Tom and his group will find what I like to call Deep Berk, for want of a better name, a thriving Viking/Dragon society whose symbol is the night fury crest that has been on every heirloom and artifact Tom has found and was the crest of Berk, old and new. While feats of engineering are present, attributed to Hiccup's influence when he was chief 1300 years before, modern technology is not present. Anyway... that's my idea of a plausible backstory that explains why all these berkian artifacts keep showing up. At some point after the final scene of the third film, Some of Berk relocates to the Hidden World. Assuming that this is what the writers are trying to tell us, we may end up getting that new series in which the next generation of Berkians explore the Hidden World with their dragons. Among them, Zephyr and Nuffink bonded with two of the night lights.

How does those kids know what the heck a titanwing is? The amount of atrocities this show commits is beyond me. It’s almost INTENTIONALLY bad. It makes you think, did they give it a low budget on purpose, so that people would watch it to make fun of it, thus they make more profit? Like this can’t be THIS bad!
  • @omegon2540
27:36 Wonder if that makes snowwraiths the feather hides natural predator Edit:20:38 anyone else think it would be cool to have dragons which inspired the Nordic gods?
  • @zaidnail3544
For the next season, you think the dragons will be crimson goregutter, nadders, zipplebacks, stormcutters, grump, skullcrusher, and the arctic dragons from httyd 2 will appears. As for buzzsaw, if toothless was still alive, toothless would kill buzzsaw for taking his families title. And for thunder, I still think he's still a girl to me. Oh and one more thing the yet I dragon is called a yetiwing and is a mystery class and the purple dragon is called a snowtail and is oddly a stoker class.
  • I don’t want to hate on the show because I haven’t seen the full run time of any of the episodes but I freaking hate the design of Thunders mom, it looks like they mixed a strange looking light fury and tried to make the rest of it look like toothless 😭
  • The new purple dragon looks a little similar looking to to a death song . or is that just me ?
  • @JoshuaG
After hungering for more "How To Train Your Dragon" stories , i thought The Nine Realms had something original to offer, "The 1000 year later" time gap caught my attention and thought "They might have a winner here" 🤔😆 Unfortunately i was one of those dumb idiots that fell for this crap and kept watching it, after the 4th season, its starting to doze off and i keep telling myself: "What the hell am i doing?!" 😂🤣
  • @madrat8060
It's seems like the only problem TNR have is that it's wasn't made by Netflix. If it was, the show would be ten times better than it is now.
  • @calibrus9589
Thunders new motivation is to get the dragons to live with humans in peace just like hiccup before the third film should have done.
  • @yolo6381
I’ve been waiting for s5 to come out. I really wanna see how they tackle dragons being discover in modern world… even tho it’s probably obvious how it play out.
