Here is a 10 hour recording we made of frogs (peepers) nightly chorus. We made the recording using a Zoom H1N audio recorder using a custom binaural microphone setup that I built. The recording was done at Bald Eagle State Park in Pennsylvania. One night while we were camping at Bald Eagle State Park in Pennsylvania I heard these frogs and quickly grabbed my equipment and started recording. It was dark and there was not much visually to record so I let the audio recording go. This video records what I heard and saw that night!

If you want to see how we made this video, we created a video that does just that!

The video features a darkened screen to maximize its benefit for sleeping, study, relaxation, meditation or just to have something in the background with natural sound.

This is a remake of our popular Nightly Frog Chorus video. YouTube informed us last month that the current black screen version is preventing us from keeping the channel going in the future. We've replaced black screen with a darkened image. It's the same audio recording that everyone enjoys. In the coming weeks the black screen video will be removed to remain compliant with YouTube policies. Thank you for your support of our channel!
  • I grew up listening to the spring peepers at night while i slept. My father would open my bedroom window at night in the spring. My window faced the acres and acres of woodland, I felt like I was sleeping in a tree fort. It truly helps me sleep at night, brings me comfort and very much reminds me of my father who passed away in 2021.

This is why I live out in the country. To listen to this at night while you go to sleep. The smell of fresh dew in the morning. And the sounds of birds as you’re waking

The little Peeple. I love to hear them and all the others in the Spring.

I grew up in the 50’s in East Tennessee without air conditioning so our windows were always open. We had a creek that ran through the front yard and so I listened to frogs ,crickets and other night bugs that put me to sleep. I moved out West and the one thing I miss at night is those sounds.

the air was always so beautiful and smelled so good whenever they were singing this song
  • To anyone reading this, may you wake up tomorrow with a smile on your face and a grateful heart. You are blessed beyond compare to be listening to this music. Now go to sleep, have some rest and know that people loves you

Thank you for this recording. We had a frog in our garden pond who is no longer with us. We miss hearing him sing. We found your recording and have enjoyed sitting by the fire and hearing frogs singing once more. So until another frog moves in.. you have filled a spot for us. 😊
  • This is the only place I have found peepers on YouTube!!! I didn't even know their name or what they were until my parents moved out to the country this year. I've been searching for that sound to sleep to ever since!!!!

Right now its spring, and we hear these every evening from our swamp. Spring peepers never get old. In the winter this sound makes me so nostalgic.
  • Magical. Was always fascinated by the froga choir. Just amazing.

Just laying in bed as a kid with the window half open hearing the chorus of spring peepers as the first warm days of March danced over the land. Looking up seeing Orion making its way over the horizon before the Milkyway core would show up.

This is my favorite cricket recording. I love that it comes from a natural setting. So beautiful. I fall asleep to this every night ❤️

LOVE THIS! i love the sound of crickets and peepers so much, it’s what i look forward to the most in the spring and summer. i live so close to bald eagle state park, so this is even more comforting :D definitely gonna come back to this video more often

I had to laugh. At first glance I read Naughty Frog Chorus. lol. 😂

I've been trying a lot of different all night sounds and the peepers are the best for me for several reasons. Mostly severe tinnitus. A study concluded that this was one of the top 3 relaxing sounds.
  • The mating call of the spring peeper sure beats the mating call of the cicada.
  • @cowboyblacksmith
We lived by a pond and the peepers would really go at it, I really miss this in the dead of winter. Come spring and summer it's an exciting sound to hear and fall asleep to.
