Honestly, double battles are way more entertaining than single battles. In singles, it always comes down to "I send out this Pokémon, opponent withdraws, I withdraw". But thanks to possibly being hit by two different Pokémon, doubles really disincentivise switching, leading to way more fluid and thought out battles.

Wowwww Assault Vest goated item for that Ampharos there at the end, really clutched it out. The paralysis obviously mattered too, but great foresight on Luke's part still.
