What’s your favorite Gen 1 Pokemon?

The trip down memory lane was so surreal. I lost a childhood friend of mine almost 2 years now and we played every Pokémon game up until around platinum on ds while going into 7 grade. It’s wild to think we were destroying so many skyridge cards to scan on our game boys. Seeing the artwork of all the older wizards of the coast packs got me happy and emotional. Sometimes you never really appreciate the small thing until years and years past by. Long time fan of what you do for this community. Keep rocking Leon!

Generation 1 favorite pokemon is Mew, not because its powerful or rare or mythical or legendary but simply because in mewtwo strikes back with the scene where mew and mewtwo fight, ash gets turned to stone and it was a teary scene showcasing alot of emotion and mew was just so happy and cheery and innocent it really captivated my child hood.

My favorite is Golbat. Because here in Germany Burger Kings gave out plush Pokemon with their kids meal and I drew Golbat. Pure nostalgic memories!

Mewtwo! His story is a tragic one and if you go inside the Cinnabar Mansion you can see all they did to him, truly a great backstory for one of the best pokemon ever made.

Here’s me shooting my shot 😊 Favorite Gen 1 Pokémon, as cliché as it is has to be Mew. I just love how elusive and mysterious Mew is. Also the playful nature of Mew is super cute and finally Mew is so darn cute you just wanna cuddle it.

My favorite pokemon from gen 1 and from all time is pikachu. Being a little kid playing pokemon yellow as my first experience to pokemon games will always stick with me forever! Playing with the cards and watching the show after school will always be the best memories.

Squirtle is my all time fave. The first game I played was Blue so I wanted the game mascot so chose Squirtle as my starter and he’s been my fave ever since. ‘Here comes the Squirtle Squad’ was then my fave episode in the Anime as well. This was an amazing video!

My favorite Gen 1 Pokemon is Slowbro. Mon is underappreciated and the mysterious evolution of a Shelder supposedly helping them evolve but then other times they just evolve from battle. Also they are said to be able to unevolve. I kinda like that they either messed up the continuity or its just more mysterious than we know. Also in the game Regenerator plus its physical bulk is *chefs kiss*

Gengar is for sure my favorite, his abandonment story hits my soul but overall he’s the coolest, strongest dude 🥺💜

My favorite Gen 1 pokemon of all time is Eevee. Eevee is a very basic Pokémon on the surface in terms of what it can do on its own, but its ability to evolve into multiple different types of pokemon is so cool. They've been able to use this ability throughout the history of Pokemon, and I love seeing the creativity Eevee allows. Also, Eevee is an incredibly cute Pokemon, and the name fits so well. It's just one of the coolest ideas for a Pokémon.

My favorite gen 1 Pokémon is Poliwhirl. Love the design and the fact that it's Red's first Pokémon in the manga

My favorite Gen 1 Pokemon has to be Magikarp, because I too only know how how to Struggle. But also because it evolves into one of the most bad to the bone Pokemon.

Favorite gen 1? The one and only Pikachu- in particular, Ash’s pikachu. The attitude it had towards Ash in the beginning and how it grew to a loyal companion. Plus, pikachu is so cute!

Snorlax was always my favorite gen 1 pokemon. I have always enjoyed my sleep and he will forever be my spirit animal! Loving the video and it has been very informative as my 4 kiddos have just gotten into pokemon cards and reignited my love for collecting them!

Gyarados. Was always my favorite Pokemon to use in the original games. Those games got me through some tough times as a kid. didn't really get the opportunity to collect the cards but I was lucky enough for the games and the show. love that you are still a kid on the inside and sharing your love for the cards and knowledge with all of us.

Favorite Gen 1 pokemon is definitely Gengar. I love his tragic backstory, it makes him a very complex and relatable pokemon.

Bulba was allways my go to when I was a kid. I thought he was so cool first time I see him, Pokemon was a big part of my childhood love your Chanel bro

Pikachu is my son's favorite which has also became mine. Pokemon has altered my son's and I life path forever, in the best possible way imaginable. When I brought out my old sports cards when he was 5 he at the same time found Pokemon and introduced it to me. Colin is now 7yrs old and I feel our bond is unbreakable and all is owed to Pokemon. Thank you for what you do!
