Am I giving birth anytime soon? Nope! Am I going to watch this entire thing? Yes 😁
  • from watching you a few years ago to now I love how much more comfortable and confident you are in front of the camera! It makes it feel like a big sister chat! hope everything goes smoothly this birth!!
  • This video is so helpful! I want to make sure I'm prepared for baby but also I'm a minimalist so I don't want tons of baby clutter. Theses are great tips!
  • @ToriaQueal
Thank you for posting, Jess!!! 22 weeks tomorrow with my first, and am starting to research alllll the things, so it’s nice to have your perspective! 🤍✨

The best thing I did my third trimester was prep muffins, pancakes, and bfast sandwiches to keep in the freezer. I was so sad when they ran out 😂 Praying for your delivery and postpartum ❤
  • this plan looks sooo good thus far, jess girl! i am so excited for you and your family on this next step of your journey. love you and be safe. you're in my prayers. <3
  • I definitely recommend the owlet.. when pregnant I didn’t really think about it and thought it was unnecessary but our little girl ended up being born premature so I asked around and the NICU nurses told us they are quite accurate.. once we did finally get to bring baby girl home it gave me such peace of mind, and honestly the ability to sleep well between feeds knowing that if something sinister were to occur, we would be notified immediately.. used for 10months and only alarmed once when she had RSV which we ended up needing hospital for anyway..
  • Hi, Jess! I really enjoyed your video. I’m a college student, I saw it upload earlier in the week when I was studying for finals. I saved it to watch for when I finished all of my classes and was moved out and back home. Thanks for helping me relax and do some self care after a busy semester❤ I appreciate what you have to share!

A tip for shifts- you have the right idea for baby #2! We have found it works really well for me to get up with the babies to breastfeed and let my husband sleep.. because him being well rested makes him so helpful during the day. I got to nap while baby napped, he would make me food, do things around the house, and then help with our older boy when we had baby #2. Then he would do some skin to skin for bonding. I know many people feel like the night time shifts should be shared, but this worked out really well for us!

This is so very helpful especially for first time moms. Knowing what’s essential to buy and what’s not. I’ve been told by many experience moms that baby actually really need very little items and not much. This also helps keeps things very simple and not be overwhelmed by it!
  • you’re amazing!! I always look forward to watching your videos! I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy🩷🩷

Love love love a wrap to baby wear for the first 6ish months!!! Once you figure it out, it’s super easy to put on. Love love the ergobaby 360 baby carrier. SO easy to figure out. Just clips!

So exciting!! I remember when I was planning everything for my daughter, who's just 2 months younger than yours, and seeing you go though this again is reminding me of that time! :) I can 100% recommend a carrier: Boba bliss. Suuuuuper easy to use, and COMFORTABLE!! it's like a hybrid carrier, easy to put on and off like the more sturdy ones, but super comfy like the elastic cloth ones. Everyone I know that's used it has loved it and recommends it!

Yes, yes yes to baby wearing! I didn’t start wearing my baby till she was about a month old and I wish I had done it sooner. Like you said, I also struggled in the beginning with trying to get things done around the house and Caring For baby when her naps were so short, it wasn’t until I started wearing her, that I started to get more peace of mind and want so overwhelmed with trying to get chores done. It can be intimidating at first. I just watched a lot of videos and tried it around the house. I started out with the wrap which is great but can be a little annoying having to tie it and making sure it’s not too tight or too loose I tried the ring sling and I found those were so much easier to use in public. You can Quickly put them on and adjust while baby is in. Now that I’m pregnant with baby number two, I got a another carrier that allows me to carry my baby on the back now that the bumps in the way . My first will only be 13 months when I have my baby in August, so I’m sure I’ll be baby wearing a lot.

Hey out there in the States. Thank you a lot for all the positive vibes from you and your family. I am praying for you two and your children, and all the things you'll need during birth!

As a mom of two young kids, I also had two years apart this was such a good video!! I agree with everything you said Jess!!! Good luck to you and I can’t wait for you to enjoy the special moments that come with a second child being born ❤

26 year old mom of 3 here 👋 my biggest tip for doing feeding shifts is to either have hubby take baby for first shift of the night, immediately following a feed (usually around 8-9pm) and go to bed early for a couple/few hours, he can stay up with baby until 10/11 and then bring baby to you. Alternately, if you prefer to sleep in he can take baby immediately after a feed early in the morning, around 5/6 and you can sleep in a couple more hours! This makes it so you get a few good quality hours of sleep every night but you don’t have to pump! And he gets to sleep through the night while you handle feeds. That’s what has worked for us! Best of luck 🫶❤
