Disney and Pixar's #InsideOut2 is coming to theaters June 2024 with brand new emotions!
The little voices inside Rileyâs head know her inside and outâbut next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixarâs âInside Out 2â introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters. âAnxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but sheâs not really the type to take a back seat,â said Mann. âThat makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds.â A trailer, poster and film stills are now available for what promises to be the feel-good (or feel-everything) film of Summer 2024.
Disney and Pixarâs âInside Out 2â returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, whoâve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, arenât sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like sheâs not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, âInside Out 2â releases only in theaters Summer 202

Love the character development with Joy being super supportive of Sadness now
-
Anxiety literally has emotional baggage. how great is that?
-
"This film is not yet rated" caught me off guard đ
-
0:24 idk why but seing joy protecting everyone is really wholesome
-
It is nice to know that Joy learned her lesson and realized that the other teammates (like Sadness) have a purpose. Looks like many more lessons will be learned in this installment.
-
I love hearing joy say "Sadness is in the House!". Such character growth.

It feels funny in 0:17 Fear and Disgust Looks at Sadness and she Was Like YAAAYYY RILEY!!đ

Anxiety: "Where can i put my stuff?" Woody from Toy Story: *MANIACAL LAUGHTER*

The most necessary sequel of this year
-
Sadnesses "yay" got me lmao

The way that she protects old emotions from anxiety â€

Normally I hate my anxiety, but now that I known Maya Hawke is voicing this emotion in this film. I love her already. I love Maya Hawke in Stranger Things and I'm sure I'll love her as Anxiety in this. Maya was basically the embodiment of anxiety in season 4 of stranger things, so I'm sure she'll do a great job as the actual emotion here.

Was waiting for a full trailer of Elio but this is even better .

The line I loved the most is... "Sadness is in the house!!" "Yay..."

Itâs really nice to see some character development with Joy and Sadness. Where now Sadness is being like Joyâs assistant in order to understand whatâs goin on with Riley. I also like that detail before Anxiety shows up, we see Riley wearing an orange hockey suit before Anxiety is revealed. A form of clever symbolism basically. This is probably my hyped animated film of 2024 since I loved the first one

The sequel we actually need
-
Riley is just as precious as I remember. ^^

I love how sadness waves her little flag around

Wow, Joy really loves having Sadness around now! She's really learned her lesson thoroughly! But her spunkiness is partially the reason why I love her so much! Even though I'm not so spunky myself.
