- The difference between the current crop of Saudi government-appointed scholars and the previous one is only a few degrees of separation. The current 'Council of Senior Scholars' includes scholars that will resort to using vile language in order to show their unwavering bias for the Al-Sauds, at the expense of true scholarship and independent religious opinion.

    Who is this guy? Shaykh Ibn Baz and Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen were well-known for their knowledge. Don't listen to him. And it is not from the Manhaj of the salaf to critise the ruler in public.

    sheikh uthymeen n bin baz may Allahs mercy be upon them both were true scholars n the legendry scholar was sheikh al albani exceptional scholar in modern times .....

    I don't support the Saudi rulers, but I can understand the fatawa against Al-Ouda, Safar Al-Hawali and their likes. They wanted to make Saudi Arabia a secular state with a democratic system instead of an Islamic system.

    Lol these are the same people when they are asked who are your scholars they keep their mouths shut, who are our scholars of recent time shaikh bin baz uthaymeen albani and the likes of them they can't find anything wrong with what they said because they referred back to Allah and his messenger.

    Besides ibn Uthaymeen and ibn baz, who are the true followers of the Salaf, please answer me, I live in a country of complete ignorance most of imams are sold out here and I just follow some videos of scholars and taleb al ilm, but I know they do mistakes or blind following....conclusion I have to learn arabic in emergency firts step yeah
