This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to build an AI research agent using Perplexity AI and Make.com. The automation works by feeding Perplexity AI a prompt and URL, which it analyzes to provide a summary, comment insights, and additional research data. This output is then sent to a Google Doc and passed through a router to three different GPT specialist agents that transform the content into posts for LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.

To set this up, I used Make.com, a no-code automation tool, and integrated Perplexity AI (which is 100% free). I also connected an OpenAI API key to utilize GPT-4 for the specialist agents. For the LinkedIn bot, I used Claude AI to generate custom instructions on how to structure the post, considering factors like optimal length, clarity, and engagement.

The process is highly customizable and scalable, with countless potential applications. While there are some costs involved, such as Make.com's monthly fees, ChatGPT Plus, and Perplexity AI credits, I found them to be reasonable for the level of automation achieved. I believe this AI research agent has significant potential and I'm excited to see how others might adapt it for their own purp

Note: The Perplexity tool is now 100% FREE and no need to pay for it ๐Ÿ˜Š If you want an unfair advantage with AI Automation, join my Skool Community: rb.gy/73y5da

Thank you, Jack! FWIW: 1) I am hard of hearing (severe tinnitus) which, in my case, means my brain often misinterprets rhyming vowel words (cat, sat, bat) because they are differentiated by their preceding consonants. Due to the perpetual high-pitch noise in my head (exactly like high-pitch digital alarms going off perpetually at slightly differing frequencies and volumes), my brain misconstrues them if they are not clearly articulated. That said I have no difficulty understanding you; unlike a certain Wigan bloke I know! ๐Ÿ˜‚ 2) My 'tip' is because I know I will eventually actually implement this and the multiple agents concept in a previous video. But, as an aging hippy (76yo extraterrestrial entity born in human form, only just visiting this planet) I will begin playing with them when I have the timeโ€”maybe next month! ๐Ÿ˜… So I'm paying it forward. Have a good evening, mate!

Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful and well-presented. Your time and effort is most appreciated!

Thank you so much for sharing this! My mind is truly blown. I have no idea what Iโ€™m going to build with this, but I know itโ€™s going to be special. ๐Ÿคฉ
  • Very useful video. We are using Perplexity, and aim to do more in this way. I am looking forward to more along these lines. Maybe a closer look at automations and agents that are already available and how to find the best ones,

Thank you for putting this together. This was the first video of yours that I've watched. The step by step demo for creating Agents is super helpful. I was able to successfully run one. Once a post is generated using the reddit url, will the previous post be overwritten or saved somewhere so I can access it later?

What are the main reasons for using Perplexity for the forum post analysis, claude for the agent instructions and chatgpt for the outputs - why not just use chatgpt for all three steps if you have the Plus subscription? Is it personal preference in terms of the outputs or more technical considerations?
  • For info to people wanting to make this automation, perplexity is now verified on make, so you don't need to use the thrid party anymore (-:

I LOVE AI Agents... but I'm left wondering: Why hasn't anybody developed a system/app that takes the API's from the top LLMs, created agents for each, and then have these agents all work together to brainstorm, debate, review, and solve problems? I often get 4 different answers from 4 LLMs, so why not have them all setup as agents "in one room" working together to come up with the "best" solution. I can't find anybody that's tried this... why not? Wouldn't having the "top minds" (LLMs) working together produce better results?

Great content! Is there a place that people can easily copy the custom instructions you are using here?
  • @CulturalEmpire
Can you please tell me how to connect the LinkedIn page at the very end? You left out the complete setup so it can go to LinkedIn...Please help with what to write for the settings on the LinkedIn module
  • I'm sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm a late-blooming newbie - instead of a specific link, can we tell Perplexity to search Google/Google scholar to obtain data, rather than data from Reddit? Thanks ahead of time!!! Thank you so much for being such an amazing teacher! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ†

Please calrify what you did with Claude. What were the attachments and what was in them? What is Monzo and how did you 'tell it to use your tone of voice'? Sorry this section is not clear to me. Other than that, great video, thanks!

I would like to know if I can use this to schedule appointments?
