In 40 to 50 years time the Lamborghini Murcielago is just history.. but the countach, even a hundred years old by then will remain a legend!

1988.5 countach. I've met the owner of this car a couple times at car shows. very cool guy. letting kids sit in it and making it accessible to the average Joe out there. pretty awesome considering what these cars have skyrocketed in value to nowadays. great video!

I had no less than 20 posters of this car growing up. I have seen every movie with a Countach in it. I sat in a Cannonball Lamborghini at a car show once. I hate myself for never being wealthy enough to own one.

In 1990 my step dad took me inside a car collection shop in south Florida. They had a countach there in bright red and the salesmen let me sit inside. I was just a kid and it was by far my favorite sports car. I'll never forget that night!

I went to a car show in Wichita, Kansas one day back in the 80s when I was stationed at McConnell AFB just to see a black Lamborghini Countach 400s.. I stared and marveled at that car for 30 min at how fast, ground scraping low and small it looked standing still.. I then left not even looking at any other car at the show. That’s how much of a superstar the countach was and still is.

My childhood dream car! Funny how technology has changed of 40 years. My 2013 Lincoln MKS could now give the Lambo a run with a 365 HP AWD v6 twin turbo...but I'd take (own) the Countach any day!
