Somehow billionaires wanting to give away their money ending up doubling their money
  • @coolwinder
I love that one snippet where an interviewer asks him directly why is he considered inovator, as he is just a businessman. His face, like he was never asked something like that, he is just a child with a huge ego controlling our freedom and future.

I saw a strange "Math Equity" website that wanted to fight "racism in math" 🤨 that received money from their foundation. The website felt like I was reading pseudoscience and pseudo-sociology rather than something actually based on tight research. Edit: Equitable Math was the site. An article was written on these donations in Edweek. "Gates Foundation Targets Culturally Responsive Math Teaching With New Grants"

Its quite scary how 1 person can control so much with the power of wealth and connections
  • @JohnGorny
When you have all the money in the world, the eonly thing left to buy is power. Philanthopists are not at all retired.
  • @Sythemn
Crazy idea, he could have just given money to low income school districts to buy the supplies they need and pay their staff. That actually might have made a difference.

Oh my god... I had no idea Bill Gates was behind this! Thank you so much for this video! I'm going to share it far & wide ✊❤
  • @313Nadir
Giving money away means giving without asking for anything in return, giving money in exchange for influence and control is just buying influence and control, I wish someone would publicly point that out to him whenever he gets on his philanthropy pedestal
  • @npc1336
Graduated a few years before they implemented Common Core So glad I dodged that bullet
  • @Bloodlinedev
The road to hell is paved with good intentions - it's quite ironic that he want's children to have the same level of education he enjoyed but look at him. What a sad man, everything just needs competition, a market, data collection and more tests.
  • @ivan55599
US of A is a strange place. At least in my country smaller schools are better educating students, because less of distractions, and teachers have more time for students in individual level, and not being big educational factories.
  • @Lakoda26
Leading indicator of student success is parent involvement. Full stop. I went from having my child in then 2nd worst school in our state to the 3rd best. The atmosphere was night and day, but the worse school had better teachers and spent more per child. The difference was almost every kid had both parents involved in their life and the parents had the time, money, and desire to take an active roll in their child's education.

gates should stop projecting his failures onto teachers, and just say into his mirror that he is a failure
  • i'm not from America but I've seen some of his propaganda specifically about him in school before saying how he's an amazing person takes serious balls to talk about this stuff in education system please keep making more of these I love them
