AllI could think of, what if Ruth Ginsberg had the same selflessness. The supreme court would not be in the mess it is in. If she had retired while the Democrats were in power, a younger Democrate would be in that seat. I realize people will be a little angry with my thoughts, but lets be honest. Potus has more class in his decision this week. A canadian here but still so happy for the u.s. for the future.
  • The Republican ticket is 100% maga. Not a balanced ticket. The GOP are toast.

An apt saying for SCOTUS: "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Some people run for office to protect people, not all, empathy is the ability to love unconditionally and that takes a lot of courage.

I am so glad to see that MSNBC usning Lawrence O'Donnell more in panel discussions on the extraordinary events that are taking place right now. The man is intelligent, well-spoken, and has a wealth of experience to call on. He is such an asset to the team. Hoping we will be seeing more of him as this norm=bending year plays out.

The only thing Trump has made great again is kindergarten name calling. This Republican Party is pathetic!!

Thank you SO much Lawrence for talking about how VP's are picked. You always have the big picture and I so appreciate it.

What is sad is that Trump, MAGA and Fox have made some people blind to Biden’s contributions to this country. Most people want to do good, too bad there are cynical, grifters among us.

Thank you, President Biden, for bringing your heart and soul to our country for so many years.

Thank you, President Biden. Your efforts during the pandemic meant that I kept the roof over my head through a Homeowners' government program, got a job after being unemployed for 18 months during COVID, and now earn more and have better health care benefits than at any time during my entire life. I am EXTREMELY grateful for your efforts as President.
  • Joe Biden will go down in history as not only a great president, but a man of great courage. Thank you, Joe.

Well Biden got to the place that many have aspired to but few have attained. And he didn't shame the country either. Thank you Mr. President! 🙏💙🙏

Thank you President Biden for your service, dedication, and sacrifice, putting the country and people first.

I come from Chile and I know well as I experienced in my young life how dictators come to power, sad to say that this was very much supported by US governments and corporations. It is painful to see my traumatic past coming to traumatize me again.
  • I am old and sometimes over the past 50 years I disagreed at times with Biden’s decisions. But after his progress in the past 3 years is impressive. I know that Kamala is a phone call away from Biden. I feel so much better.

As a woman, I'm so happy to be alive to witness Kamala Harris becoming President. She was born for this time in history!
