Whoever is Jon Hamm's Agent, get him into more leading roles. He deserves it.

John Hamm has definitely been deserving a bigger role like this, but I’m so excited to see Daniel Pudi in something other than community!!

Love this genre of surreal, overly bureaucratic office job employee finding out secrets about the corporation they work for. Stanley Parable, Control, and Severance all have this aesthetic and I can't get enough of it.

I worked at an Am-Law 100 law firm in Dallas, and a couple of the other paralegals and I found a room like this with a basketball Pop-A-Shot arcade game in there. The room was abandoned, and was kind of in a nook where people wouldn't naturally walk past it. Every single day for a year, from 2:45pm-3:00pm we would meet down there for a Pop-A-Shot tournament. This film feels exactly like that.

This is the story of a man named Stanley. Stanley worked for a company in a big building where he was Employee #427. Employee #427's job was simple: he sat at his desk in Room 427 and he pushed buttons on a keyboard. Orders came to him through a monitor on his desk telling him what buttons to push, how long to push them, and in what order. This is what Employee #427 did every day of every month of every year, and although others may have considered it soul rending, Stanley relished every moment that the orders came in, as though he had been made exactly for this job. And Stanley was happy.

I've been waiting for a Stanley Parable movie.

Whoever made this trailer did an EXCELLENT job -how atrange and exrremely intriguing! It really looks like it will be very well done and a lot of fun; Hamm is clearly killing it in this role.

The craziest part of all this is people wearing suit and tie in Seattle.
  • @JaredBrave
They totally nailed the pacing, suspense, off beat humor, and quirky characters in this trailer. I really, really hope the film lives up to the trailer.

"They don't care about you. You're a number in a column on a spreadsheet." I felt that 😔

Four out of the five voices in my head say this show is going to be a big hit!😵‍💫

I absolutely have to see this movie! It seems it's Sarah Gadon like in Enemy again, and it all seem as that kind of a movie. Great cinematography I would say, and this leading guy I've never seen... Seems like a perfect cast. I have to see this!!!

Wow, Steve carrel looks great in this Office reboot. He goes full hamm.
  • @Fubeman
This looks very fresh and very different. Gives me a sort of Severance crossed with Being John Malkovich kinda vibe. I'm in. I also love that the trailer draws you in but doesn't show you the ENTIRE movie.

Jon Hamm loves to take on quirky roles. He often was in small sketches at SNL without hosting. I love it when character actors do their real love of work in smaller quirkier roles and films.
  • @charno_zhyem
Severance, The Counterpart, Control (the game), now this. A whole genre of what I call Magical Brutalism is sprouting up.

"You're a Number, in a Column on a Spread Sheet" Best Office Insult Ever💯💯

So Jon Hamm 2023 finds Don Draper 1960's office... I'M IN!
