I haven't played any of the Mass Effect game's and until now I didn't know what I was missing. This video has convinced me to purchase the game.

My best friend who was a massive ME fan, passed away just before the legendary version came out, he was looking so forward to it. He would have freaked out just how good the game looks, it's such a shame he will never get to see it. His name was Dillion or Dill to his friends, he was a fantastic guy who loves and got on with everyone as long as you didn't talk about Lord of The Rings he had such a thing about that book. I just thought I would share a little bit of him to keep him in the minds of people so he's never truly forgotten..

Reaper 1: "The organic fleets have arrived." Reaper 2: "Which ones?" Reaper 1: "Everyone." Reaper 2: "What do you mean, everyone?" Reaper 1: "EVERYOOONEEEEE!!!"

Your Shepard looks like a marine from Halo CE
  • @MrJarcarrier
Everyone talks about Marauder Shields but no one mentions Marine who is in command of the entire galaxy’s fighter squadrons

I love how Codex descriptions and cinematics of space warfare in Mass Effect are so ludicrously different.
  • you know, they could've used this remastered to touch up some things, like showing both Quarian and Geth fleets during the approach to Earth or showing more of the fighting on the ground

If they made this into a show with a giant budget, the right people behind it, and stuck close to the games… guaranteed it would be a world wide hit and an all time best. I just want as many people to fall in love with this universe like I have!

That opening scene with the entire armada firing on the reapers.... CHILLS...EVERY...FREAKING....TIME
  • @24Fanboy
It honestly makes me tear up, seeing all the species work together.

Admiral: "OK Shepard, you know the Reapers better than anyone. What's the plan?" Shepard: "Everyone group up, in really tight formation, then shoot them until they die!" Admiral: "Uh... you do know space has, like, three directions, right Commander? And no friction? Maybe we could try long-range multi-vector bom-" (Shepard passes renegade check) Shepard: "THIS IS MY SPACE BATTLE AND WE WILL FIGHT IT MY WAY NOW SHUT UP AND MAKE WITH THE PEW PEW YOU NERD!!" Garrus: "Uh, sorry about that. Shep's not been the same since Cerberus Frankensteined her back together. Need some help with the calibrations?"

That "Holy shit, she did it" form Admiral Hackett is so heavy on my throat. That scene alone is one of the highlights of this game I'll never forget

I kinda feel like the LE should've included more space scenes and show more allies helping out on the ground. Plus the full cut conversation with Anderson at the end. Bit of a missed opportunity imo.
  • I was 17 years old when I combined the forces of the galaxy for one final stand against the scourge of all known sentient life.. This cut scene made me cry straight up when I first saw it. For 2007 the graphics were unreal and it was just such a powerful moment in my life. I hope our future generations see the stars, and persevere through whatever the universe throws at us. God bless humanity.

I still remember back then when I first played this. I went through all the galactic drama & lost some of my dearest friends to assemble the ultimate fleet. Every chapter of the final mission felt like Stalingrad, only difference is that if we fail this, we can't just retreat across Volga. If we fail, everything we've ever loved will perish. When people bid farewell, most of them say "good luck" because we don't even know the odds of us winning. The emotional weight of this game is so immense.

I've seen this scene so many times, in-game and on YT, and it still gives me shivers every single time.

The Most insane thing about The 2nd Battle of Earth was it was a suicide mission all around; literally, no one had a chance of coming back... It was the push-forward tactic, and Everyone from the Navy to the Marines knew it. So to see the fleets come out of the relay and just reign down fire was beautiful and poetic, showing no matter how bad shit had gotten, everyone knew what they were fighting for

There are only 2 things I wish this game did differently in the ending. I wish there was an option to get the Salarian Fleet so we could finally see what their ships are like, and I wish the Destiny Ascension actually used that "huge weapon" it reportedly has.

Now this is better space battle than rise of skywalker

I am 51 years old and I have played many games since the days of ping pong, space Invaders and defenders and on through the years, Atari, Genesis, Nintendo series up to Xbox PlayStation, but in all of my years of play even through my military years this is one of the greatest stories that has ever been told in my gaming history. It is like living another life of action and excitement and once you are immersed there is no getting away. If you haven't played this game and you want a good storyline to me this is one of the greatest stories ever told. Eat your heart out Star wars. N7 forever.
