  • Also, if you smelt a sponge in a furnace, and while it's smelting you put an empty bucket in the bottom slot, it will give you a water bucket back when it's done smelting. Useful to know if you need a bunch of water buckets somewhere you can't build an infinite water source, like a potion brewery in the Nether, because although water buckets don't stack, wet sponges stack up to 64.

    2:55 the torch breaks it because it has a hitbox lower than 1 block but upwards end rods do. The same reasoning can go for sideways end rods
