2024 College Football Playoff Predictions | College Football 2024

Published 2024-03-19
The 2024 College Football season marks the inaugural showing of the 12-team College Football Playoff. The 2024-2025 College Football Playoff will be complicated for sure. The four highest-ranked conference champions will automatically receive first-round bye weeks. In contrast, the fifth highest-ranked conference champion will get an automatic bid ranging from the five to 12 seed. In the first round, seeds No.5, No.6, No.7, and No.8 will host seeds No.12, No.11, No.10, and No.9 respectively; The winner of those games advance to play the four highest-ranked conference champions. From there, the playoff will function similarly to the four-team model. My predictions for this year's College Football Playoff are vast, as I have No.11 seed Oregon Football making a Cinderella story run and No.1 seed and SEC Champion Georgia Football winning the National Championship. On top of those, I also have Michigan Football as my No.2 seed and Big Ten Champion, Florida State Football as my No.3 seed and ACC Champion, and Utah Football as my No.4 seed and Big 12 Champion. Other teams to make the CFP are Liberty Football, Texas Football, Missouri Football, Notre Dame Football, Penn State Football, Alabama Football, and Ohio State Football. • I really love your honest opinions on here even being a Michigan fan . But Michigan is wayyy to high ..Thanks Sam
  • @ShawnHays
Michigan at #2 Are you out of your mind Too many changes at coaches and key positions
  • What are your College Football Playoff predictions? Is there any controversy about the last teams in and the first teams out?
  • How is Michigan going to get a bye, when they are going 8-4? Lol
  • My question is how can Washington st and Oregon st make the playoffs since there conference is gone
  • Love your videos Sam. Another great video. But I don’t agree about Michigan. They’re not going to be as dominant without their head coach, defensive coordinator, and starting quarterback from last year. Especially playing Ohio State, Texas, and Oregon they could easily loose two games
  • @RyanDaysBeard
Ohhh no no no... You don't lose that many coaches and that many players and win a conference. Michigan will take a step back this year. They will take losses to Ohio State, Oregon and Texas. I'm not sure they even make the playoff let alone win The Big ten. Oregon or Ohio State will win the big 10.
  • @thewillofd4417
You’re very confident in Michigan and I like it, admittedly I’m unsure about the Texas and Oregon games I keep flip flopping on who will win but you’ve convinced me Sam I’m now expecting to win those games lol.
  • @johnavalos4097
People are overrating Michigan. Jim Harbaugh leaving will have a bigger effect than most think. Michigan is not winning Big 10. Missouri is also not making the playoff.

Don't really agree with the Osu ranking but I see your point. I would put Osu somewhere in the top 4 but again I'm biased 😉
  • @lanesansom9209
I was going to say Michigan is to high but im not because i understand your explanation for them there , although maybe not at 2 , other then thats its good besides Liberty being the G5 representative , there are so many better options , Tulane , Memphis , UTSA , etc. Especially after Libertys showing against oregon , and them still not having anything close to a good schedule , the committee would be verry hesitant to put them in , especially with all the other options, with WAY better schedules.
  • Osu lost to the national champs by 6, at their house. And osu (minus mhj) has gotten so much better this offseason. #5 is crazyyyyy
  • @Swooperz11
Just a note on the 2022 Rose Bowl between Utah and OSU, Utah did not have more of their starters than OSU. Utah's secondary was decimated, they had an RB playing corner, Cam Rising went out with injury in the second half and their best D-lineman was playing with a broken rib. OSU had more of their production guys than Utah. Even with that legendary performance by N'Jigba and Stroud, they only won by 3 points on a game winning field goal. OSU still probably wins that playoff game but Utah would make it closer than most would imagine.
  • @ikinniobi6411
Why does no mention how good the playoff flim will be for furture NFL drafts when talking about the playoffs
  • @joeykelly5642
Utah is a solid pick to win the Big 12 and earn a bye, but I think K-State has a really special player in Avery Johnson. His performance against NC State was impressive. Keep an eye on that team because I think they could make some noise in the postseason. Wouldn’t count Oklahoma State out of a bid, either. Mike Gundy has a habit of churning out solid seasons with some pretty unremarkable players.
