    Lufthansa is a legend for still holding the passenger 747 Edit: i know many airlines operate the queen but lufthansa does have the most and other airlines i mean air china rossiya and korean air. There are definitely a bit more but these are the ones im sure about

    Juan Trippe, Pan Am founder was on a fishing trip with Bill Allen, Boeing President. Trippe told Allen what he wanted Boeing to build. "If you build it, I'll buy it" A handshake, & the deal was done. Ironically, this transaction would mark the beginning of Pan Am's financial troubles begin 1970. I flew Pan Am from the 70's through 1991. No other Airline was like Pan Am.

    the reason b747 are slowly disappearing is because using small/medium aircraft is more efficient than using big airplanes like the 747. but they will still be used as freighters for a few more years and they will be remembered as an important aircraft of aviation history

    Happy to say I've flown on and maintained almost every model 747. (-100, 200, 200 Freighter, 300, 300Combi, SP, 400, 400ER, 400Freighter, -8) 🇦🇺
